No. We’re supposed to give the first manager we’ve had in donkeys years with proven credentials at this level, the time he needs to build a team, recognise that doesn’t happen overnight, and act like grown ups by showing a little patience in the meantime. Not throw our toys out of the pram with every little setback.36 points

A vile chairman who is moving a football club away from its community. Telling people how green he is and then expecting people to travel to JCT 13 of the M5 to watch their team play. The same chairman who says he wears what clothing he wants and nobody will tell him any different but expects people to eat the food he tells them to eat, bloody hypocrite. Forest Green Rovers just a marketing tool for Ecotricity and Stale Mince. Yes your right I dont like him.20 points

We've just lost to a vegan village who's population you could fit in the Dolman Stand. What a time to be alive.14 points

The meltdown I’ve seen on social media is pathetic. Is it news to people that we have a poor squad that have picked up some terrible habits from Lee Johnson and subsequently Holden? This rubbish is not an overnight fix, we all know we lack goals and we are still trying to assert some defensive discipline into the side. Why is it a shock to then struggle to create chances and lose focus at the end of a match? I’d like to have seen more progress on seeing out games and creating chances, but they’re issues that have plagued this squad for the last 18 months- 2 years. These will take time and money, the latter of which we don’t have, to fix. I’m not saying Pearson has been perfect or that these results have been acceptable, but **** me some people need to give their heads a wobble. This is the start of a long rebuild, accept the situation and have some patience.11 points

A bloke here at my hotel in Barbados is good friends with Steve Walsh. Says you’ll never see team togetherness like under NP. He’s got a number of people he trusts immensely. He needs time and I’m sure we’ll be scrapping up near the top.11 points

Fairly sure my steak pasty on Saturday was vegan.11 points

Pearson on RB just now. On XI changes - strength of it is testament to the squad. A luxury to field a strong side and bench. Mentions relentless season and that he wants progress in the cup and to give players a chance to show what they are about. He expects a strong performance. Decent situation to be in. On the mix of experience and youth - Yeh it's great. Mentions Massengo and Williams in particular. Wells as well. Just generally says that competition for places is good. Semenyo has been training on the grass again. CODs injury - he should be available for the weekend. That was it.10 points

In the last 30 years City usually only get five or six years in the second tier before the club gets relegated and has to re-set. We wasted four years under Johnson selling all our best players and wasting the money on bad signings, and now a South exit from the Championship is looking more likely than a North exit.9 points

Quite simply I have no idea if Pearson will save the day. I do know that Lansdown, Ashton and Johnson fostered and nurtured this mess over the last 3. Aim your anger solely at them.9 points

Does it also bother you when in a restaurant and out of 25 food options, only one is vegan? Vince has done wonders for FGR and his sustainability message is a brilliant one. The new stadium looks superb.9 points

If he managed to get a sell-on for a player we only had on loan then I take back everything bad I ever said about him!9 points
-
Why? This could be a great move for him.. Contrary to popular belief in this country but there is actually a big wide footballing world outside of the Premier league you know!9 points

Who do you think reduced the team to this level. It is thanks to Johnson and Holden we are here now and why it is proving so hard to turn things around.8 points

Last year that was a worldwide pandemic and we could watch every game on a screen at home. This year they’ve found a cure to the virus and we have to listen on the radio. 2 steps forward, one back8 points

Bumped into a Gillingham fan round the pool today. Asked him if he remembered that season when we played each other fifteen times. Needless to say he didn’t remember it as fondly as I do.7 points

Get paid a bucket load to live and work in Rome? There's not even a decision is there? Go immediately. Buy a flat on the Piazza Navona, get a Vespa, get really into espresso and that square cut pizza they sell by weight. Training runs around the Circus Maximus. Gelato. Get aways out to Tivoli, Lago di Bracciano and the Apennines. Just go Tammy. Get out of London. Have an adventure in the eternal city.7 points

I don't understand why anyone would just shrug off perhaps our most embarrassing defeat for years. We haven't really improved in six months of Pearson. We've not seen morale improve. We've continue to see baffling selections and odd substitutions. We seem still prone to injuries. We look mentally weak. Some players he's brought in can only be counted as flops. His managerial rep almost entirely rests on his achievements during two spells at Leicester where he achieved great things. But that came to an end 6 years ago. It was a different club. A different owner. Maybe even Nigel was different back then. All I'm saying is that the assumption by many that "Nigel will see us right" and somehow emulate what happened at Leicester, but with a completely different set of circumstances is, I believe, a bit complacent. The jury is still out. We need to see some results. We need confidence he can at least keep us up this season.6 points

Exactly my thoughts He’s not captain material sunshine, everyone can see it. Good call from Pearson. Rubbish call from Holden for giving it to him in the first place, quite frankly.6 points

Or perhaps like many of us do not think he is a very good captain6 points

I am not sure having his family in Hungary shows a ‘lack of commitment to the club’. AN’s partner has just given birth to their first child and perhaps, just perhaps, as her partner (AN) is a full time footballer in England, with little time or experience of raising children, she preferred the support of her mother and family in this new and important task. Coupled with the restrictions brought about by this horror that is COVID, perhaps AN is missing his partner and newborn baby, thus is unsettled. It seems quite understandable and normal to me.6 points

After the last 18 months, gone are the days when I lose sleep over Bristol City5 points

Get a grip of what, exactly? I agree that we have to try and get behind the team and no one likes fair weather fans, but this club hasn’t won in 5 months, whoever plays. I’ve worked and slept in my loft for the last 18 months. We could all do with a break but currently all being a City fan is doing is making me angry and miserable twice a week. Every week. I don’t think that plugging away and relying on character and spirit is going to cut it. NP needs players and he needs them fast. Sacking him in February because the Landsdown’s ‘can’t contemplate relegation’ is really not acceptable.5 points

Best to just sit back and not get too invested. The mess that was allowed to fester over the last 3 years is not going to solved in a season.5 points

Well at least you got all the details of a conversation that you don't know how it went before coming to a conclusion that NP has thrown Nagy under the bus and then strangely picked him to start in the next game.5 points

I have met him via a acedemy side playing v FGR and Mr Vince welcomed the players, coaches and parents to FGR. Mr Vince also conducted a Q&A session with staff for visitors. He was polite and humble. One of the topics they covered was nutrition. They do not tell people what to eat. They outlined the benefits of vegan food. The health benefits are obvious. Their U teams certainly are not vegan . Mr Vinces marketing tool has a expanding academy beyond normal expecations v the size of FGR and is investing in development centres for kids ... Hardly a club with its heart in the wrong place. Preferred their old kit v that green striped mutant thing.5 points

Seemingly the majority of their fans think he's a great owner. Don't worry a vegan pie isn't as scary as you think it is5 points

No I know no one thinks that. Just think it's not very funny.. Maybe I just need to lighten up a bit. ?5 points

Don't think he's quite good enough for Spurs, especially if they're after a Kane replacement. Lautaro Martinez is someone they're after as a potential Kane replacement and he's of a much higher standard than Abraham. I know we look upon Abraham with fondness - but I don't think he's a top 6 standard player. I think he would probably be useful for lots of other Prem sides though.5 points
