  1. Ours was in a big wooden cabinet with foldback doors. I'm sure we had to tune in to 'programmes for schools' or something on the beeb.
  2. The PL should send them a legal bill.
  3. Nothing as complicated as that was behind it.
  4. He wasn't in the wba squad last Saturday, or their previous game, and flashscore didn't list him as missing due to injury.
  5. I was under the impression that most (non-head) coaches got paid pretty poorly. Is there truth to this?
  6. The HITC Sevens chap (Alfie Potter) just did a youtube video on Hull (who he supports). Interesting, compare and contrast how their owner acts with Steve Lansdown. https://youtu.be/MuEJVwSl8ks?feature=shared
  7. Want to stand out? Take a box of 5 1/4 " floppies with you to your interview.
  8. Decent save I thought. Would have been better if he'd have been the keeper mind.
  9. I didn't realise it before, but old Wayne looks to be about 85% Mark Ashton.
  10. Don't worry, the con isn't a concern to the clubs. Until a year or twos time obs, when they'll bellyache. Shame on them.
  11. Yep. They voted for it. Remember that when City claim that 'its all Sky's fault' when there's that one game that got moved in the promotion race so that you can't attend in March 25 .
  12. It's trite crap, peddled by people who don't really have any clear aims, and even less of an understanding of what strategy might achieve them. I don't ever buy Nike, but FFS just do it.
  13. It gets a bit tricky working out whether to bother with an overseas robinsTV sub, given that (a) I usually attend all home games subject to illness; (b) I usually split a NowTV sky sports sub for (currently) (don't worry NTTDS I've cancelled for the summer) Half £19.99+£6 boost => £13 pm RobinsTV was, what, £180 this season? It might be worth going monthly with it, depending on what away games are featured on Sky.
  14. 2-1 bolton. That's all she wrote.
  15. Last chance to see that fantastic Barnsley kit tonight. Makes our third kit look acceptable. Well, almost.
  16. Of you follow the maths through, I believe his win rate was 'undefined'.
  17. Yep. We hope to make 9th in The Championship by 2325.
  18. The City player in the background looks like he's still playing. Has he not realised we've scored?
  19. Our butcher's dog was three legged, blind, half deaf, and incontinent. I'm hoping he beats that standard.
  20. They've earned a double promotion, and made a ton of money already (since they sold a proportion of the club off). I'm not sure what it takes to go south from here, but I think you're clutching at the tiniest of staws here.
  21. Allowing for a margin of error, you probably finish +/-3 points of where you should 80% of the time, ditto position. The differences really aren't statistically significant season on season. So aren't we broadly as good as we were last year, and as good under Manning as Pearson? Unless we spend the latter third of next season in the mix for a play off place then I'll dare say there won't be progress then either.
  22. No apology for the communication. Attempts to gaslight the email recipient for the horrific *club* communication. This should be a wake up call to any organisation/Guernsey based owners that employ unsuitable people in any position.
  23. What would happen to the men's team would be that the Sale & Purchase agreement would be inked well before our promotion celebrations were complete. Unless of course SL got greedy and wanted more than his investment back. Ah ... okay, we'd be straight back down.
  24. "It was apparent from that first meeting that Mikheil and I shared similar values...I came to understand that his goals for the club were similar to mine." Buy it, increase the value, flip it.
