  1. They've been trying to get him to sign for a year. He wants to do as well as he can financially and professionally, which is understandable. He'll get better offers than those two (or three maybe by now) offers already made by the club. We'll see what happens!
  2. Bloody hell. I thought I was seeing a replay of the Ipswich second goal. Sort of a 'hands off' system of defending by Hull.
  3. I thought Twine got done bad two or three times. Book the first, it doesn't happen again. Ignore it, and you risk the player getting injured. Refs are meant to protect players from this sort of thing.
  4. We were thinking the same thing - as soon as we heard Plymouth were losing it was 'oh no, they're going to stay up again!'
  5. I thought the only reason he left was because one of the other players decked him. One that played in the same position ...
  6. That reminds me. Time to watch Dumb and Dumber again.
  7. I'd offer £2m plus a £4m PL promotion bonus. C'mon Burnley, you know you want to. (I fully appreciate that Fevs and Silvio have mentioned better value options, but LM only has eyes for ST.)
  8. I'm loving it. I've cashed out my 5p bet for a whooping 21p profit. I honestly thought Leeds would struggle tonight, but I didn't think they'd roll over like this.
  9. We know your feelings :). I'll take a Huddersfield (and City) win tomorrow, and call it a good weekend.
  10. I want close ups of Leeds fans crying.
  11. I waited after the play off final failure v Brighton. Then we sold Leroy Lita. So I didn't renew, and missed a few years - and came back after the Hull play off final failure.
  12. I'm looking forward to Leeds falling apart, again.
  13. I get you. You are right but I just don't want believe what he says. We aren't supported anything like well enough for this to be a good idea. I'm hoping it's a marketing gimmick to try to generate more ST sales, but if its not, I look forward seeing how it plays out.
  14. 1. 12k+ 2. Two reasons: They are trying to increase bums on seats, seeing as the South Stand attendances have been hugely under capacity for many games, with all tickets sold to ST holders (as in Sold Out). Also gives us cheaper POTD alternative. 3. I think some people got the wrong end of the stick. Ain't no way the Club would limit ST sales below the proscribed limit (there have to be a certain percent of POTD tickets available.) Waits for people to disagree ...
  15. He's a greater little player. Very snappy in the tackle. Shouldn't this be in the transfer forum?
  16. Yeah, I mentioned that in the past. For me, Bristol Bears are too insignificant for this to cause an issue.
  17. We will. I suspect the FSF will do a survey to help quantify the impact of this. Apart from people not attending, it will also cause major inconvenience to some fans. That this isn't recognised by the other 'stakeholders' shows that the pursuit of the dollar (or pound) trumps all in modern professional football.
  18. Yeah, that situation was untenable. It probably looked worse than it was because a number of supporters invoked the free upgrade to unattended seats in other parts of the ground.
  19. They'll need to win both remaining games well, and hope wba or Norwich lose one for their final two. Sheff Weds v WBA Saturday. Like to see Weds and Huddersfield win Saturday. I think I'll be on flashscore most of Saturday afternoon. The wifi's okay during the game.
  20. It comes to something when I want Everton to beat Liverpool. Not that I have any liking for either club, but I have been hoping that Everton get relegated up to now.
  21. I have a *feeling* that it included the ticket being resold officially as non attendance by the holder. I do remember thinking, 'Jesus, that can't be right, can it?' Unfortunately, there are too many TPOF pods to go back and check. I might see if anyone does show transcripts that I can search ...
  22. Yep. His market value is currently way below his book value. Or something like that. I do wonder that if we get stupidly low offers, and/or can't find the no's 9/10 we want, we'd do something risky and keep hold of him in his final year and get the 'value on the pitch'.
  23. I sometimes have to wait a few seconds or try it again, but it's always worked for me eventually. Have you asked to have a physical card next season cus that process seems to be a pain. Unless you like getting flashed of course.
  24. I heard on The Price of Football recently, that one club were taking your season ticket back - or at least not allowing you to renew - if you missed three games. If we ever get that arrogant I'm off. I don't care that we'd probably be in the Premier League for that to have a chance of happening.
  25. All this would need is a upfront message explaining why ticket sales were offline and when they'd be back and for what 'customers'. Maybe the offer of an email when sales are available. The slipshod way they tend to implement solutions will lose people. There are many improvements that could be made to the bristol sport online user experience/interface that they seem reluctant to do anything about. Credit cards not working for no good reason being an obvious example.
