3 place grid penalty for Max says it all.

I lost respect for him today, not necessarily because of the incident but his attitude. He must have known he had been on top of Hamilton’s car and did not ask if he was ok. Radio message was basically “**** you” and he just walked off. Nasty little shit

I was watching on my phone in a field, so didn’t have the best view, but when Verstappen was getting out of his car, Hamilton was still trying to drive (reverse), so it was fairly obvious he was OK.

    Spinless bunch of C~~~

When will the PL say no to them!!!

Are they?  Has anyone one else ever asked to do this and been refused?  Can’t see the big deal myself, it’s set a precedent now, so others would be able to ask and should get.

The 3 hours is spread across 15 min blocks and the app can only hire by the hour

Might not be cheaper than what you had, but for that little usage wouldn’t taxi’s be the best option?

6 months ago my wife’s car was scrapped. She only needs it when I am away 2 nights per month and only for a total of about 3 hours over those 48/72 hours.  She managed to find a local friend of a friend who agreed that their car could be used  for all times needed for £30 per month. Win/win for both parties.

The problem is that this car has now conked out and is being scrapped. So my question is, is there anyone else in this situation and if so how do they work around it?  There are car pool apps but their cars are £5 per hour

Doesn’t using a car app work out at half the price?   3 hours usage a month would be £15 v the £30 you were paying a friend.

Imagine the meltdown had Lewis got pole and been gifted a race win, just seems very cynical to have a small procession behind the safety car to achieve a classification

I’m no fan of Hamilton, but fair play to him for stating the fans should get their money back, I hope that 2 laps doesn’t constitute a race in regards to ticket refunds.

So this brings Utd transfer fees since Solskjaer became manager to over £425m

Seems they are doing everything to make a bang average manager look good

You think it would have been different whoever was their Manager, Ronaldo’s hardly broke any transfer records (although I’m sure his wages will be eye watering, but he isn’t alone in that).

So....did you used to be @Lanterne Rouge? I always wondered if that was a cycling thing

No, I just used that account as an example of someone who has changed their username.

I had one name change since I joined OTIB that was in 2006 (the name change, joined before that)

Yes might have been on here? @TomF

As Tom said, there is, but I haven’t got an ordinary member account to log in as, so can’t tell if it’s an admin setting, have a look at someone who has changed their name and see if you can see the arrow I have circled in this screenshot.

  9. Some others that just dropped off the radar

TeePee - I believe he just fell out of love with City and concentrated on holidays

x3widracin - Our enthusiastic American friend who IIRC came to a game and hasn’t been since, maybe it’s better when you don’t witness it first hand….

Purplemonkeydishwasher - no idea what happened to her.

    Any particular reason,or is that personal/embarrassing? 😉

I only ask as, a few years ago, a young (female) relative of mine passed through California on her way to a working holiday in New Zealand with the intention of returning once she had earned enough money to enjoy herself in New York and Florida.

Although she had what was I believe a non time specific visa, i.e. she could (theoretically) enter any and several times without problem, she was refused entry upon arrival in LA, grilled for a few hours and even threatened with an intensive body search before she broke down in tears and was simply put on the next plane home - with no explanation as to why she had been refused entry.

Membership of an undesirable organisation was the reason they gave,  This was back in the early 80’s and I’ve never tried since….

The layout of fans in the ground really doesn’t help.

A big away following take the whole Atyeo end & bellow straight at the quieter sections of Lansdown, Dolman & then right across the pitch - while the city singing section are tucked away the other end where no one can hear them.

Giving away fans the corner of Williams while the East End dominated them was how it should be.

Whoever designed it has given away fans the advantage.

Does it really make that much difference, we hardly set the world alight with no fans in the ground.
