So after 4 rounds of matches we’ve had 42 games and only 5 positive results.
Has the weather ever been this bad for this long.
Joys of playing cricket in April

People will say spurs deserve to win but do you deserve to win if you miss loads of chances?
Dont deserve to win when you let in 3 at home

Over-rated. Been several times and never had a particularly good experience.
Much better cities to visit in Spain such as Sevilla, Valencia, Madrid, San Sebastian.
You can add Cadiz to that list

First out the door; rat face Fernandes, ideally. To a non U.K. team, as well.
Agree with Fernandes
2nd would be Rashford
The two most spineless players i have ever seen

When he plays well for 2 games it’s sign him up. When he plays badly for one game it’s get rid. Amazing
That is how it is on here

Because only PL clubs have the kit required to use VaR.
I know that
But as the post i replied to said
ALL games in a competition should be played with the same rules

The competition has to have the same regulations in every round. It wouldn’t be acceptable to introduce ‘no replays’ in round 3 when the big boys join in.
So why have VAR in some games and not in others

Top teams play to many games
How about getting rid of the champions league and put it back to the European Cup Champions only Straight ko That would save the big club a minimum of 6 games a season
Oh wait it's the small games they play to many of Happy to play likes of Madrid Barca all day every day

That wasn’t the VaR explanation Malt. The official VaR reckoned that the player ‘was blocking the keepers view’
How ridiculous is that?
That is what i was saying
He was blocking the keepers view in an offside position So offside

Did anyone see the Wolves equalising goal from a cross that was ruled out by VaR because a Wolves player ‘was blocking the goalkeeper’s vision’ - wtf!?
None of the pundits on MOTD could understand it. All the keeper had to do was step either way……jeez …… no wonder O’Neill was livid
The keeper only had to step either way Why?
because a player who was in an offside position was blocking his vision
so that player was interfering with play
So off side

Was he though? He was turning at pace. Contact was made, he has gone down. All pretty basic when deciding on a foul surely?
So are you saying ANY contact and a player goes down it Has to be a pen?
The great thing about football is fans having different opinions
Think we will agree to disagree one this one

Am I the only one who didn’t think it was that bad a decision? You could clearly see the contact from the Celtic defender on Silva. You could argue all day if the contact was enough to send him over, but VAR aren’t here to discuss physics.
There was contact, Silva sent down. Therefore it’s a penalty.
He was already half way through his dive when contact was made

Cracking game. I do wonder what level these two teams are compared to PL / Champ.
Celtic Mid table /Lower half
Rangers Mid table / Lower half dependent on If they keep getting the amount of pens they get in Scotland

Var never the ref did - stand by your decision ref and don’t be bullied by someone sat in a room somewhere with a tv .
It was not a care and obvious mistake so VAR should not have got involved
After they did i agree the Ref should have the balls to stick with his decision

County Cricket 2024 Season
in General Chat

Instead of playing April would it not make more sense to start later and run the season into late Sept early October The weather does seem drier that time of year
