  1. Driving home after a match I have been known to pull over before I get to the far side of the Mendip’s to listen to the post match interview - have to say I’ve listened to Mannings boring drivel once only! Once the RB signal dies away I put some music on - I hate arriving home in a bad mood!

Pearson got loads of stick early in his first full season, and some wanted him gone before Xmas that year.

Doesnt matter what side of the “divide” you are on, its re-writing history to pretend Pearson had it easy or didn’t get any stick from fans at the same stage of his tenure as Manning is in.

Difference js, Nige should have been in credit to some extent after keeping us up.

Cant be any worse than Cardiff away and a youth right back waiting for instructions from midfield to defend!

    more like non league football

its not just the manager it’s the shit show running of our club!

  3. The starting 11 showed the cracks in the coaching, if that’s the best manning can do with the players available then we are going nowhere - mediocre players that ran their socks off under NP seem to be disappointed to have been selected - it’s hard to imagine they did any better in training.

Very few of the fans have coaching badges but we can all see the crap attitude on the pitch, strange how the players that used to play well as a team are not selected together

  4. Starting 11 showed absolutely no promise - the biggest mistakes in our recent wins came from senior midfielders - the way we started today set the pattern for the match, poor tactics and poor ball retention from the same senior players  - we started the game with players that have recently been given the task of seeing the game out.

This one’s on the Manager - he got found out!

  5. Let’s face it, it matters not who is up front - we have a midfield incapable of creating enough chances for any striker to shine - best chance they get of scoring is when the forwards make their own luck!

look back at the last couple of seasons, there was better service to whoever was up front and the goals came - compare that to the tactics we use now!

65 years a fan, seen top flight once and I will not see it  happen again until we manage to play like a team with some pride in the shirt - AND with the will not coached out of them!

Exactly what i said to my sons, you cant play those 2 together in midfield, too slow, no penetration or tactical cutting edge at speed.

James cost us in the end, his first instinct is to check if there’s a clear space in front of him - if not it’s pass back and let someone else do the work,  and at times Williams did a Johnson and avoided the ball, a great pity because he is better than that! But then who was on the pitch to produce a chance to score?
