Yes it's kind of like multi-tasking. The ability to achieve more than one thing at once. Being a little annoyed by "vigorous process at the football cloob" to taking the mickey out of your annoying little half brother. All things are achievable, if you just try. People say now is not the right time for it, I say now is exactly the right time. Rovers, Cardiff, Aston Villa, Leeds... all of them *****.

    Oi.

  2. Everyone knows we're gonna lose this one, right? It's football, it's what happens. Especially when it's Bristol City*. Unexpected wins and draws against all those proper teams - the ones that kick it well - showing the world that we're dark horses, or contenders, or "up there with the best", and then lose to bottom of the league Bolton who haven't won in 29 away Championship games.

It happens to England, it happened against Birmingham, and it'll happen tonight.

All that said, I'm obviously still backing us to win, 'cos it's football. @ollywhyte, I was writing too much nonsense & missed the lock so am not expecting points, but claim the moral high ground if this comes in:

    City 3-1 Bolton

    FGS: O'Dowda (22') - #Finally #Hashtag. Scrappy, but he loves it.

Others: Reid (38') - Lays it off to Paterson, spins off his marker on the edge of the box, receives the return ball and smashes it in the roof of the net. Or, you know, a tap in.

    Bryan (60') - He's due one, probably. It'll be a screamer, too.

    Wilbraham (86') - 'Cos it'll be nice, won't it?

    HT: 2-0

    Fixtur3s

    Dortmund v Real Madrid (A)

    Exeter v Notts County (D)

    Cardiff v Leeds (D)

*Insert any other team who one follows closely. Every football supporter feels this way about their team. It's football.

    Right.

Can someone briefly explain the dream outcome for this afternoon.

Stevenage beat Accrington. FT at 16.50.

Wycombe beat Oxford. FT at 16.51.

Rovers beating Dagenham & Redbridge at 16.53.

Dagenham & Redbridge equalise at 16.55.

FT at 16.56. Mass riot ensues.

    Meanwhile, Cambridge beat Mansfield.

Authorities investigate aforementioned mass riot, and determine that several players, the manager, and the entire Al-Qadi family were heavily involved.

Rovers deducted 15 points, thus finishing 2 points outside the playoffs.

Something about Thatcher, a dog, and that sheed Lansdown.

Dish out praise when it's deserved. Please see my posts after games like Sheffield Wed and Bolton. Plenty of credit for last week away at Brentford to against what I thought were an excellent team

Blackburn are abysmal.  Games like this are yard sticks for players....These are the games where those who ARE good enough...will prove it.

Praising us for seven points in three games - without which we'd be a mere two points clear of MK Dons - doesn't quite square with us "not deserving" to stay up.

We deserve it purely because of those games. And all the others in which we got one or more of our 48 points.

QPR: 9 (Phillips, Chery, Hoilett, Polter, Washington, Onuoha, Emmanuel-Thomas, Hill, Tözsér)

So yes, they are mistaken. This is from the BBC's stats as well, so they can't even claim a discrepancy somewhere.

I did wonder if they were only counting league goals (in which case they should've put us as having 9 players, due to Robinson only scoring against Luton), but then QPR have Washington and JET who haven't scored in the league either, so they'd still be below us.

Now stop distracting me from the #GOTIB15to16CPL table. I can do that well enough by myself.

Would any mods be able to shine a light as to why viewing who voted for who appears not to be working? Anybody else notice that? I am sure i ticked that box.

Happening in the prediction thread too, hav. Seems to only be new polls in the past couple of days - older ones still load correctly. Maybe only works when we have a manager in place? You know, otherwise 'names' won't come...

  7. Ah ha, notice we're no longer "Champions" in the title.. (this may have changed before, thinking about it..how long did you give it?)

A suitably concise but informative preamble for a young team, cheers @havanatopia. Will be there today (first match since the new stand's been finished for me) so certainly hoping your prediction is prophetic.. Shall I add those scorers to your #GOTIB15to16CPL entry?

  8. 2-1 win to city.     COYR.

    5-3 reading.

Vydra x2, Tshibola, Robson-Kanu and Quinn for them.

Freeman, Moore and Robinson for us.

    Kodjia sent off.

    On that basis...

    2-3 defeat.

City with 65% possession and we get done on the break with Ayling stranded up front as per usual.

It's so hard to make predictions in this league but I think we will get it together today and they will miss Sa as we win 3-1.

Well done Hav. Tide will turn today. 4-1 City.

    Ahem...

Top work as always, Havana. I did indeed stop off there to fill up the tank (well, not "fill" - not at those extortionate prices) just the other day.

Hope everyone (that gets in) enjoys the new Sports Bar. Don't break anything, now, or we'll all be banned for life.
