Nasal sex who ?
*uck nose.

I am the eternal optimist in this 2014-15+ era of expansionist football so I cannot go with anything other than a sneaky City win. And maybe by more than one goal today. 0-2. Kodjia, Freeman.. back with a bang. We need to get our season going seriously and make a statement and maybe that day is today. Lets all hope so and what will not be in question is that we will likely come out the other end with more than 50% possession.
A great read, thank you! Although strictly (and pedantically) speaking, Birmingham is not in the Black Country, I think you'll find.
I like your score prediction though, and I too expect Kodjia to get at least one today
Get thee to the prediction thread!
Excellent work once again Havana.
And you, @BigTone, of course.

OK . I will ask
Who's there ?
Nasal sex.

Hoping we win.
Predicted we'll draw.
Expecting a loss.
Now watch it get called off, just to spite me.

Kinnel...i'm gonna start doing the lottery...predicted every result right so far this season...nuts!
The prediction league says otherwise...
-
Yes, this is quite true...
8-7 to us then!
-
Fair to say Brentford's defence is crap; that's eight goals conceded in two and a half games.
Hope we look at this at h/t and feel we can get something more out of this.
And we've conceded 7...

Who got the POLL right for first goal in front of the new SS?
Several, I think.
-
I voted yes and no, just because I can.
Maybe don't do polls in your Match Day Threads, Havana
-
Knock knock.
-
To all those who wanted the NLBR thread gone because it was "embarrassing" to have so much Rovers chat on here, just look at how many separate threads we've now got on them! Top three threads, and counting...
And this is yet another one - the worst one yet!
Hope you're ruddy happy.

I think I am right in saying over 4,600 tickets were sold so it is, actually, highly possible a further 500 were sold on the day. I suppose a few hundred might have had a guilt trip at the last minute and decided not to show up !!
Think he was suggesting that it looked like more than the 5.1k announced - not believing that an extra 4k Wolves fans were in that pic compared to yesterday.
I could be wrong though. It's been known to happen.
-
Oh no it wasn't...
Oh yes it was!
No, wait...what was my opinion again?

I think that both handballs would have been harsh (though having watched it a couple of times, I think perhaps Carroll knew what he was doing on the goal line), but on another day they could have been given. But it wasn't another day I suppose
Yeah. The first one probably was, but would have been a HUGE call, and seeing as after countless slow motion replays it's still not 100% there's no way you could give it as a ref.
Second one just wasn't a handball.
Quite right though, it wasn't another day.
-
Not bad. Lost to a handball on the line 1st half by Carroll and a handball by Carroll leading to their goal. Different game if we get that 'little bit of luck' SC was talking about in the week.
Wasn't a handball, unfortunately. Bounced up and hit the front of his shoulder.
-
Earns a 100k a week not bad for a loser.
Quite right. Sorry. I forgot that the incredibly wealthy are all lovely, lovely people, and those who earn a fifth of that in a period 52 times longer are awful, and should be cast out.
-
You can definitely see a deflection off his hand onto his head in that last one showed. Nigh on impossible to give it with the naked eye though.
I could also be wrong. Might have been Adrian's hand.
Still think Carroll's a loser, though.
-
I'm pretty sure it's Kevin Kilbane...

Stupid question of the day, who are the commentators or more to the point the co-commentator? It's bugging me, Mark Bright?
Kevin Kilbane?
-
Still not 100% either way after about 5 replays...
You can definitely see a deflection off his hand onto his head in that last one showed. Nigh on impossible to give it with the naked eye though.

Great start.
C'MON YOU REDS

They've spelt JET's name wrong. "Emmanuael" or some such nonsense.
They'll have plenty of time to put that right after he's scored a few

Uncle and Stead both Ex City players and both influential in both the giant killings yesterday, surely a sign?
All set up for a hat-trick today - us, Pitman v Villa, & Baldock v Arsenal.
Or we'll screw it up, and it'll just be weekend of ex-players rubbing it in our face...
