    The club know the discontent.

If sales were going well, they would be shouting it from the rooftops at the earliest opportunity.

    The silence speaks volumes.

I am amazed we haven't been offered free tickets to BS3 Live for renewing *yet*.

  2. I can't get past him calling an ice-lolly a lolly-ice.

So not only would I release him, I would try and find out if such an offense was punishable with prison.

If he can get over this serious blip, then I can't think of anyone better who would be cheaper (especially if you consider a transfer fee).

So, if he wants to be FAB and a FEAST of footballing entertainment, the (Screw)ball is in his court. I wanna see him SPARKLE.

Else, he gets a ROCKET, him and his FUNNY FEET.

(Sadly, I haven't been able to shoehorn a defensive WALLS reference in here).

City won’t turn down another ST renewal.

I’d suggest calling, explaining by the situation and I’m sure they will sort it for your dad.

He did that, and what I have posted is what he was told.

He still renewed, but was disappointed - he was happy (well, I was happy) to pay extra for it as well.

To anyone who has renewed a 'physical season card'.

Can someone please confirm whether the renewal process states or gives the option for a physical season card. (I've seen the FAQ which says to hold on to this years physical; card.)

    Thank you.

    Why:

I went to renew two tickets and after clicking 'proceed to checkout', I only got the 'digital delivery' option (I say option, but there was nothing else to click on!). Now that was fine for me as I have a digital season card, so I renewed mine only. Then I went back and went through the process to renew my brother's physical card season ticket, but again just got the digital only option.

My father wanted a physical card as he is finding it increasingly challenging using his phone, but was told he wasn't allowed to have one and they were only available for people who had previously been issued with them.

Surely you're making the point? A big loss for Welsh football, but beyond that, not so much?

Might be a more significant loss to the Welsh speaking Argentinians.

(Pretty sure for a while Welsh was the second or third language of Argentina, with I have a feeling was something that occurred in the early 1900s).

    BCFC Women - 7,384

If you do 'highest home crowd this season' across men's and womens football and the rugby you should be able to find the worst supported side in the region!

So, in first place we have....

    Bristol City - 25,857 v Leicester.

    Second....

    Bristol Rugby - 21,076 v Exeter

    Third

    Bristol City women - 12,008 v Arsenal.

    And propping up the table....

    Fewers - 10,335 against Norwich.

    Was their undoing today.

Thought Rebecca Welch was superb (watching on RTV), got all the yellow cards spot on.  Was the penalty an easy decision?

Bugs me when refs fail to add on any time / enough time when stoppages occur in injury time.  They made subs, had injuries, etc.  quite right that game went into 100th minute.  A ref who applied the new laws that others have forgotten.  What was the view of her performance from those of you at AG?

I thought it was a poor performance by the ref today.

Their positioning didn't seem appropriate to the play (and I understand that everyone has to pick their preferred view), but after a couple of early yellows, more harsh challenges went cardless, suggesting to me they weren't 100% in control of the game in terms of consistency.

Would love to see distance covered by today's ref compared with others as they seems very static.

I listened to football on radio when a little boy and I know it may sound weird to many of you younger ones, but, so long as the commentator is good, it's good to listen. And also if the co commentator is someone like Gary Owers, one gets a rounded view of the game.

    Not alone.

Most away games I'll have on the radio, unless it's midweek and on the red button.

I could stream it, but I quite enjoy not surrendering every Saturday to home games or the idiot lantern. Home games, fine; away.... I can wait for highlights (usually courtesy of @IAmNick - the clip posting legend that they are).

    Mein Führer   Mein Führer

Please allow us our day in the sun.

£ 3.98 million annual losses is a new record for Rovers.

It's a proper Roy Castle of a season up the Mem.

Record losses, record number of consecutive games without a goal...

Wonder what else they can achieve?

Yep. Saturation coverage works where physical demand is oversubscribed, but at our level it just means lower attendances.

You have to think that the clubs who voted for this have decided that 'fans of the future' will now be 'fans of succession' and are accepting that it will be difficult to get new customers through the door, unless they have a significant other in their life who already goes.

Appreciate the heading number from Sky is quite strong and will more than make up for a slight drop in numbers; but there are shades of ITV Digital about this albeit from a broadcasting partner with very deep pockets.

Short term, the Sky money will keep the wolf from the door for a few clubs, but as happened with ITV Digital, if the broadcaster isn't getting a return after 5 years, either the number will drop or the deal won't be extended.

    Interesting times.

  11. With the existing Red Button service it is already an excuse to possibly not bother going (Blackburn looked like the lowest crowd of the season), so the concern is that if they don't get it right next season a fair number of ST holders might decide that a membership offers far better value for money, keeping their cash for occasional games.

Add in the increase away game coverage and a lot of people might get to watch a similar number of games by just following City on telly. (Not everyone streams).

One thing that isn't clear, will be if Sky Stream is going to be available to pubs. The red button was (originally) but then removed.

Yes, I suppose it depends when the SKY schedule is published, how far in advance they will change KO times. At the moment there seems to be a total disregard of fans and how they can actually attend games.

Sure it was posted on here that once Sky have got their mitts on the fixture list, the games will be selected until January.

At which point, you would expect them to pick games based on form/goals/playoffs.

Obviously the moment the rains starts to fall and games get postponed this could all go out the window.

  13. Also, make sure you check with the airline as to what sort of ID they require you to have.

I have a feeling (or I think I read) that one carrier who has a route to the ROI acknowledged that whilst entry to the country wasn't passport specific and that they'd accept other forms of identification, as an airline, their requirement was that you'd need a passport to fly.

Ah, Claire Young. You can tell we're in a GE year.

Surely there won't be the required interest in this anyway given Yate is full of gasheads, gypsies, and shops that still have pick n mix?

What have you got against pick n mix?
