  1. Joey refusing to tell the Fewers anything about the new owners until the pay stops!
  2. Are any of the players out on loan this season likely to be in contention next season?
  3. That would never happen in Bristol......... #NoNeedToMoveToThePoliticsForum.
  4. A much higher number (than usual) sounds of emergency vehicles on Gloucester Road post-match. I hope the Fewers aren't out lowering local house prices with antics.
  5. This is their new plan - rather than developing academy players, they're going to try and keep boy-wizards.
  6. 8 cautions issued today. And they were all yellow. #ColdplayLOLS
  7. They have just conceded another. A pen 8mins in to injury time.
  8. Christ. I forgotten about that tomorrow. Means I have to get up and move the car back 4 feet so I can limit the parking in BS7. Doesn't do a lot, but a mild inconvenience is the least I expect of myself. #DoublePark
  9. Been a while since we last did that (I would guess, League One promotion maybe?).
  10. Anything else you can offer to the description - The style you mention was pretty much EVERYONE at the time!
  11. To be fair, at least it shows they're taking their obligations to equine more seriously than they have done in the past. It's more difficult to punch a horse if it is hiding in a little horsey caravan.
  12. Next season will see a close battle between Craig David and that Fatman fella.
  13. Should just do 'players born after 2001' - and raise that by a year each season.
  14. To be fair, the young player category was described as a 'guidance' in terms of the cut off ages, can't be beyond the observational skills of the people setting this up to think... 'maybe we should add another 12 months to the criteria, give fans a genuine choice as at the moment there is almost a winner by default'. '
  15. My view is increasingly that loans aren't about a managers previous connections, but more about loan fees, wage contribution and then training facilities; medical facilities and style of play.
  16. https://alternativemeats.co.uk/
  17. The City ad was shown on some cable TV channel. Might have been Quest.
  18. Saw the TV commercial earlier. You'd get more enthusiasm in an ad for Dignitas.
  19. Jesus. Nailsea Electrical (who also sell kitchens - before anyone points out the obvious) did a kitchen design for me. Even though the design was free, it was THAT SHIT I got proper eggy when he tried to sell me a kitchen and I suggested that if the quality of design was a reflection of the quality of their work, it would be best to leave it. And Fever Pitch work with them... hmm...
  20. When Alan Sugar and El Tel took over Spurs, Sugar was very surprised when he found out that the club were renting a dance floor for one of the function rooms from a night club Venables owned. But I am sure Bristol Sport put EVERYTHING out to tender.
  21. Those t-shirts will look mint with my new daps.
  22. Thanks to the magic of the Internet, I now know that Zachary George Onyego Vyner is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Bristol City.
  23. That WAS us, when we allowed Ashton to play player roulette and have random punts of players like Engvall 1.2mil, 4 games. Signing Szmodics when either LJ didn't fancy him as a player, or he was just too similar to other players we already had.
  24. The system as it is now works fine. Those who have season tickets and go to away games generally get offered an additional window over season tickets holders if demand is likely to exceed allocation. So many different ways that it could be sliced and still leave people at the back of a pecking order though no real fault of their own. For example, someone sitting in Lansdown Centre could argue that they invest more than someone sitting in Dolman wings, and therefore they should have a higher priority. But it doesn't work like that, and neither should it. People buy tickets for 'their' experience and if that experience also gives them a priority call on away games, good luck to them!
  25. I fell in to the all too tragic 'we took 40,000 to Wembley' conversation on Monday with one of the deluded. They were convinced that it was fact and that was why the Jordanian bought them. They seemed unaware that Wally had since sold on his majority holding.
