We talk about SAF, Pep and Klopp. But you could make a very good case that Ancelotti may be the greatest manager of all time.

Makes you wonder if you stick any average striker in a world class side. They’re guaranteed to score goals

That looks onside to me.
There we go. 2-1 Madrid
Tuchel has messed up on his substitutions

2-1 Madrid but offside!

Kane off. Madrid score. Can only see it going one way now.

Foul. No goal! Correct decision. Advantage Munich.

Birmingham were 6th and sacked their Manager as they wanted a "name". That didn't quite work out either.
Perhaps I should reword to “proven”.

Yep. Had a feeling had they got one they probably would have got another.
I had a feeling it was PSGs year. Evidently not. The problem for a club like PSG is they have no competition domestically. Therefore do not ever experience real pressure.
With Mpabbe gone this summer. They won’t win it anytime soon.

Sounds a bit more to it than just not making the playoffs given this is the reasoning given by Hull in their statement:
“However, it has become evident that our visions for the future are not aligned and I feel that now is the time to make a change. Our philosophy is clear, we will continue to drive this club forward, and whilst doing so I will continue to be open and transparent with our fans.”

I’m wondering if they’re after a “name”. Seems the owner wants to get to the PL quickly. Wouldn’t surprise me if Cooper got the job.

Well then!! Pole position Dortmund!
Game over. Had a feeling if PSG didn’t score the in the first half Dortmund would come out for a second goal for the aggregate.

Big second half coming up for PSG too if the Champions League is your poison.
Been quite a tasty first half. You can feel the nerves in the stadium.

And there’s me waking up hoping he’s announced his resignation along with Lansdown and Manning.

Dorking Wanderers will most likely be in the Premier League before us.

Disappointing end of season. The club set out for top six and aim for promotion. Which we all know was a lie to cover Pearsons sacking.
JL then comes out at the senior reds meeting and then drops expectations to a top ten finish. We’ve failed that also.
So by that rule, Manning has failed this season.- 8

I presumed they appointed Wilder as they had accepted relegation and wanted to bring back someone who had got them up before?
I thought Wilder was only there until end of this season?

Wouldn’t surprise me if Sheffield United gave him a chance this summer.

"They" = Steve.
I think tbf finances had a lot to do with it.
Cheap option whilst the club came to terms with post-covid finances, and of course the excessive spending that had gone on in years previous.
Didn’t Steve go on national radio following LJs dismissal and was somewhat gloating the Bristol City job was attracting interest from all over the world.
A strange action to follow if your finances are stretched.

Been told by someone in recruitment we won't be doing much business this summer. He's got no reason to lie ,so yeh don't get to excited another borefest season beckons.
If that’s true. We could very much be in trouble next season.

There were quite a few on here moaning at the time when he signed due to his age. I raised then the reason he was signed was to start the revolution in raising the professionalism from the footballing squad. Plus, he was Pearsons eyes and ears in the changing room.
A maverick signing who helped changed the culture within the club.
Thank you Andy King

That home against Millwall was the closest I’d ever come to a heart attack out of anger and stress.
Believe we were favourites for the league (or one of them) and I believed it. That all quickly crumbled during the Millwall game.
