It's a friendly, it's about giving some players a chance
I understand that but it should be given players a chance who deserve it and are proven to earn a chance.
Gallagher really does not.

So the activists who are not renewing season tickets-is it because of increase in pricing , which by the way falls in line with most other increases in the football league or
is it because team ( by the way is still NP team )is not performing above average or
the new manager ( young manager ) is trying to implement a different style but is failing , maybe needs funding for summer transfer window or
we’re continually blaming owners who have made a few mistakes ( that happens ) but has invested heavily and without that investment our ground would be behind our neighbours up north Bristol or our academy which has saved us due to millions of £ of transfer returns , where do you find owners like this again , also who’s hands are tied by FFP ruling NO these activists or should I call them sheep are entitled to their own opinion as are we all but I bet it’s the same ones that will come running back if we have a good season, the faithful 12000 or so who turn up EVERY game will still be there so their actions make no difference in fact I prefer when the whingers are absent
Going by that use of vocabulary we know it’s you Brian Tinnion.

Thought this was an offer then. Hence why I clicked.

Rather Henry Cavil. Fits the bill for a Bond and at the right age.
The Aaron chap looks more like a junior agent. Could only work if it was more a prequel becoming 007.

the fight went aswell, instead of stretching every muscle to win balls, there were lazy legs stuck out hoping to knock the ball, they need to get stuck in again, like williams was against forest.i cant be the only one who sensed the togetherness (if there is such a word) was getting dissolved too
Nope I sensed it too. And like you, I was surprised people were chanting Mannings Cider Army given what had happened to Pearson. It was mostly the young lads mind.
Even the bloke sat next to me made a comment on the lines of “we would probably be a bit more exciting and create more today if Pearson was still in charge”

Was at QPR and stunned by fans singing for Manning. At the time I could see this was going to be a disaster, it was dreadful and players looked confused. Remember have a few disagreements with fans on the day.
I was there myself.
Easy to say now but from that very game I felt we were doomed from the start with Manning. It was a boring 0-0 and not one player looked like they wanted to impress the new manager. That was a telling sign to me.

I'm certainly not going to ask for details and especially on an Open Forum, but from what you were told would you say..
A) The sacking fair?
B) Without the alleged ruck or whatever it was, would GJ have been sacked certainly at that point.

Yes, knew someone at the time who was involved with City. Had the full details of what happened in the dressing room and what happened after…

Think it's quite telling Gary and the presenter have opined they're very sure that Manning will be here next season, whereas James hasn't made any such commitment, and instead has talked about things "spiralling" and the situation being "overwhelming".
I think if we don't get anything from Leicester and Plymouth then Manning is gone.
This is what I posted yesterday also. Woke up with the feeling he has two games to save his job. Lose both, I think he’s done after Plymouth. Much like Gary Johnson.

Ah thank you. I must have missed that. Tuned in quite late.

Sorry, went to edit, and deleted wrong bit.
This is what I’d put:
Well if anyone heard a few rumours doing the rounds, Ian Gay has heard the same and just broadcast it on BBCRB. Him and his source have no filter and no shame. Wow!
Heard what though Dave? I can’t find any context of a rumour?

Sorry Dave. Way he’s speaking. I’d like his rose tinted glasses to try on.

Just tuned in. Who’s the plank who’s got his nose up the clubs arse? Saying we’ve had a long term plan to replace Pearson with Manning.

Then when there's a Legends match being played he's in it. He'll always be a Legend to most of us,
Just because you play in a legend match. Doesn’t make you a legend…
I also disagree most see him as a legend.. the term is used too much nowadays
Scott Murray is a real legend

I don't agree with sacking Tinnion, he's a legend like Scott Murray, demote him,
No way near in the same category as Murray. He isn’t a legend at this club. But that’s just one man’s opinion.

Yep, that’s my plan. It’s the first year I can recall I’ve not renewed on day one - yes I will renew but it’ll be last minute. I want to see them squirm and panic at the number of renewals not being enough for them to tweet “10,000 renewed already” or similar.
Fact is that as football fans we are over a barrel in some parts. If the quality is shit in Tesco you shop in Sainsbury’s. Yes you can go to a local non league side, but they’re still not your club. So they know we are likely to renew in a lot of cases, but not rushing to do so really indicates strength of feeling.
Concern is people will just renew blindly. I’m not saying for people to not renew if they love the entire match day experience. But hold off until the last minute. Use your brain and don’t be a sheep. This is now a very good chance to make Lansdown squirm as you say.

I’d love to see people not renew or hold out till very late on to get the message across to Lansdown.

Come on Rooney didn't get any good results-manning has had loads! The only similarity with Rooney is that the fans didnt give him a chance because they don't want the previous manager sacked!
