I’m sure he will pick up another job quite quickly. Very bizarre sacking.

This thread sums up the issue with the forum in my opinion.
Two pages on a non City player (yes cracking player and all that), vs a thread on Pack having a great season on the "ex-players" sub forum and no replies at all.
Think we need to relook at how the forum is set up.
Only one man’s opinion. But having constant topics on former players who are still playing competitive football is rather tinpot. Whilst talking about a young English talent who’s now in discussion for a starting place this summer competition.
Again, only my opinion.

I don't think you are a true City fan.
Many of us have supported the team through all the divisions with various qualities of manager and players.
Yes it's been horrible at times but personally, I still loved watching the team home and away and with same degree of passion and enthusiasm wherever we are.
That's what real supporters do.
I think that’s a very harsh statement to make.
I actually admire any supporter who stands up and says they no longer enjoy the football nor have any emotion into caring of the result. Given how the club have treated supporters for so long. It’s no surprise people feel this way.
Going to watch football is now such an expensive past time. People have the right to complain given the investment they put in. The truth is, we’re no longer supporters but paying customers. If we’re not happy with the running of the club, or the performances. We have a right to complain. Especially when the same mistakes are made over and over.
It does tickle me with posts like yours who still have a 70s mindset of football. It’s no longer the working man’s game, it’s now the rich man’s business empire. It’s no surprise Bristol City football club is such a cosy club, when supporters still provide the club the same emotion and care as seeing your young boys team playing on a Sunday morning.
The behaviour and actions of the club over recent years would not be tolerated at most clubs. Especially those up north, we would have been enriched with all sort of protests.
Bristol City Football Club. Cosy Club. Too Soft Of a Fanbase.

That kind of sensible chat has no place here, this is a Pro Pearson thread for forgetful Pro Pearson people.
I feel many on here are actually sensible with their opinions and view on the club given the clubs behaviour and how unnecessary the club have derailed our season. While we’ve still shown no real sign of improvement since the removal of Pearson. Yet again, we head into the unknown and it’s understandable to have cause of concern for the future.
It’s not a pro Pearson thread at all.

I think if you’re prepared to dish it out you also have to be prepared to give credit when it’s due. So well done to Manning and team. Push on now please for a strong season and don’t let this just be a purple patch.

If we go at Plymouth in the same way we have in recent games. Then we’re back at square one and today’s result means nothing.
It is one game. It’s now a big challenge for Manning to prepare the team for Monday and build upon today’s performance and result.

Can you say that about a few more City players as it seems to have energised Anís.
I’ve done it a few times with Manning but my magic isn’t strong enough.

I’ve been a ST holder for over 30 years and have seen some bad times, some worse that this - at the end of the day though whichever way I summarise this, us fans have been really treated badly over the last several years, and all things considered, it’s a results based game and we have been more than short changed.
I haven’t looked forward to going to the Gate for ages, and being honest, expect tomorrow to be another defensive, boring game..Edited for you

We may be losing but I’m enjoying fanboying Mainoo
He’s been class all season but only getting the plaudits now.

Is that before this game?
Not sure. I believe on current status of losing 2-1

Mainoo on. Lad has a bright future. Must also be favourite for United’s player of the season.
Glad to see Gallagher off. I hope that’s the last we see of him in an England shirt this season. Not good enough.

Maguire?!
Maguire is decent for England. There isn’t another centre back currently who’s better. We are not blessed in defence as we are with the attacking options

It's a friendly, it's about giving some players a chance
I understand that but it should be given players a chance who deserve it and are proven to earn a chance.
Gallagher really does not.
