  1. Probably thinks he deserves to be first choice and not to have to work for it which isn’t how Pearson works. definitely boo him if he turns up at Ashton Gate to play against us. He burnt his bridges a long time ago and stuck the knife in again it seems. No room for sentiment here
  2. Bolton playing silly buggers. Know we don’t want him so trying to use a ‘dodgy medical’ as a way of reducing fee
  3. I’m going to stick my neck out and say we’re not signing him. If Ipswich are involved, they will pay what it takes to get him and we won’t be drawn into a bidding war. Move on me thinks

  5. Can’t quite understand how kalas is taking so long to make a decision unless other offers he was hoping for are non-existent. In which case, let’s not keep a player that doesn’t want to be here and we are last resort. as far as other transfers go, we need goals from midfield. Will knight offer that? Currently all our cm options score very little so how can we change that? can mehmeti score more? Scott? Benarous? Weimann?
  6. You’d think one phone call should be all that is needed to negotiate to the point of agreement
  7. I was thinking more from the compo point of view as it will be more for the coffers and would go a good way towards extra recruitments, especially if he stayed in England
  8. Wish this massengo saga would hurry up and get resolved so we can draw a line under him and move on
  9. Their fans will get very tired of him very quickly. Nauseating egotistical manager who hides his inability as a manager behind the facade of using “modern progressive coaching techniques”
  10. Should be 25mill minimum up front with easy add ons and a sell on. genuinely think we can get minimum of 35mill however
  11. Wilson plus cash for cooper…. or wilson plus cash for knight
  12. I hold out hope that Scott stays with us like grealish did with villa to get promoted and go up with us to then get his dream move for a vastly greater fee rather than us hoping for a good future sell on fee that like many of our recent transfer out have never come to fruition.
  13. We’ve been continually burned by foreign imports, or mid-managed them to the point the club loses out. should have seen a big return on Fam, HNM and Eliasson if all were managed correctly, that last bit being open to interpretation. I’d be hesitant at looking abroad again unless we signed a real gem with a high ceiling on a good contract with the aim of developing and selling on for profit a la Brentford.
  14. Pearson will never make promises or be subject to demands. Players need to earn the right to start games.
  15. Put it this way, if he can’t see the platform and pathway we offer young players and prefers the car crash that is derby then good luck to him and we move on to better targets
  16. Our best bet now is for Brighton to do us a favour and offer him a new contract so derby can’t afford to pay his compo ?
  17. Derby probably looking at it as worth excessive wages as he costs nothing but will sell on for good money. They are looking for a quick buck
  18. We all know how Derby operate however, hence why they are where they are. just the simple fact that phantom is being cryptic suggests there is something negative occurring
  19. Sounds like it’s going down the road of not happening. Like Derby are breaking the bank to steal him from us
  20. With injury and age not on his side, I can see it as 2-3 years of 15k a week thrown away. Think it’s time to cut losses and move on.
  21. Then sign! Waiting around for a better offer doesn’t scream that he’s committed to the club despite being settled and happy in the area. if anything, his indecision is delaying our ability to replace him if we need to with our primary targets. personally think we should move on from him. Bring in someone with longer term potential on much reduced wages but that can still come in and do a job now. Would rather we push for obrien than keep him on what is still high wages
  22. Are we in for this guy or is it just wishful thinking?
  23. Can someone explain to me how they are being regarded by the bookies as a team with good odds to challenge for promotion and how they apparently have a big pot of money to spend this summer? they have just come up. What am I missing?
  24. Keep the good times rolling. Shame there’s not another one in the pipeline following roberts that we know of for a Thursday announcement
