  1. Wilson looked shattered after one run. The phase where massengo broke out with the ball, wilson couldn’t even get up to the play to support. Wonder if fitness levels have been his reason for omission.
  2. Utterly disappointing today. Too much standing off and backing away, wasting the little possession we have had. No game intelligence used (why are we floating in crosses to a big keeper that always plays high and comes for every ball?) Didnt expect anything but at least a positive display. sidenote: James should be benched as is not good enough and too slow.
  3. Generally had a bad game last night. Mid-placed passes, poor crossing, poor decision making. Was an off day but annoyingly, one that cost us. Still, as others have said, he has improved us massively in the way we play so we may just have to accept to odd mistake. 5 however is too many so certainly needs curbing somehow
  4. Anyone know when the Preston game has been rearranged to? Not seen it anywhere…
  5. Pretty sure I’ve had convos via DM with them on Twitter about him getting first team opportunities and a new contract. Was a year ago at least but I’ve not seen any announced change of agent from him
  6. They have Benarous on the books too. Hopefully a good working relationship with the club there
  7. Absolute joke to cancel this weekends fixtures. People can still pay respect at football. why are others expected to continue in their jobs yet footballer aren’t? And what are those whereby football is their life or job on a weekend supposed to do? Sit and watch the same monotonous shit on every channel regarding the queen for 10 days? absolutely the wrong decision and it now makes the fixture schedule even more hectic having to rearrange said fixtures considering it’s broken up by a farcical World Cup.
  8. I mean, they signed 39million pound amad Diallo on loan, loaned simms, bought Jack Clarke among others. I reckon they’ll be okay, but I agree, he is a big player for them up top
  9. Ben Acey who came on has showed great close control and ability to travel with the ball
  10. Wilson not been great here so far. Touch and decision making a little off
  11. Tanner can’t be a happy bunny in recent times. Wonder if we should have loaned him out for game time
  12. http://cricfree.live/live/stream-221 hesgoal May be a better stream but I can’t see it available on there yet
  13. Have I missed something? Why is this not available on robins tv?
  14. I take you back to the last interview regarding contract renewals and his statements about wanting to keep HNM and offering a contract, yet over a year later, has still failed to achieve this. I don’t want to hear from Gould about what we’re hoping to do, I just want action, as aside from youth players (I class Scott and Conway in this category until recently), there has been zero action on a contract renewal point of view for our senior players that could hold value from a sales perspective. silence is deafening.
  15. If Scott was in the middle instead of James, I have no doubt that the phase of poor decisions leading to the equaliser wouldn’t have happened. Scott would have made himself available and done what he does very well, win free kicks to take pressure away. He should have been moved central, and tanner or wilson put at rwb. Take wells off and keep weimann up top to pressure alongside semenyo and Conway….
  16. I thought the idea was to have two wing backs for each position so that we can perform at maximum for an entire 90 by sharing the load and with 5 subs, it allows that and still to have standard subs. we have used only dasilva in his natural wing backs role so far…. Discounting the cup, there has been no pring, wilson or tanner….
  17. Early in the season maybe but youve got to feel sorry for wilson and tanner. Both brought in to provide balance as natural right sided defender/wing backs, yet neither look like they will ever get a chance barring the cup. if it’s not Scott OOP, it’s Sykes, if not Sykes, weimann OOP. Are they not good enough? Does NP not trust them? Wilson showed he can be effective vs Wycombe yet not even getting pitch time the following game. not looking to cause a problem, just interested to know why they are in the cold when both should offer more than playing someone OOP, especially with 5 subs available.
  18. Massengo is keeping wilson out currently. Only his good performances keeping him on the field. Soon as he doesn’t perform, Scott comes central and wilson goes to rwb. Good for competition I guess but could get to a point if wilson doesn’t play soon, his confidence will take a big knock
  19. Don’t think NP trusts either of our rb’s. Or rather doesn’t fancy them to do a capable job which is odd considering we signed them to provide the balance and specialisation for that role. Could be as simple as Sykes got the nod and has impressed since and it’s down to the other two to force their way in. Doesn’t explain their lack of chance tonight though… The one good thing about Sykes being banned is it may give Wilson a chance to impress.
  20. Hence why I put in brackets more likely to leave on a free at contract end having run it down. The fees stated for those players are just more hopeful figures in terms of their ability contract status and what we would at a guess need to cover regarding amortisation etc from an ffp point of view if they were to move on now.
  21. Hence why in brackets after each of those I put will likely leave in a free at end of contract. the only saleable assets we have are semenyo and Scott.
  22. Anyone think we should just sell the assets we have simply so we can be on a far better financial footing but also with cash for a rebuild? 15-20 mill for semenyo plus sell on 25-30 mill for Scott plus sell on 1-2 mill for kalas (more likely to leave for free at end of contract) 1 mill for massengo (More likely to leave for free at end of contract) 1-2 mill for Bentley (May leave for free at end of contract) Money in from Scott and semenyo sale would do 4 things. put us on a far better standing with ffp provide a decent transfer kitty to replace players moved on as part of a rebuild. part of the cash used to pay off the likes of Wells immediately to allow our wage bill to drop significantly. With improved finances, it would allow us the chance to possibly renew certain players on better terms so the likes of Bentley could be retained for longer. For the longer term, it may be the best strategy. Only question for me that hangs over the club is can the powers that be within the club be trusted recruit well moving forward to replace those moved on. on recruitment, have we missed the boat however on players that could replace the outgoings that still allow us to be competitive in the championship? would the above point be the only reason we don’t sell semenyo and Scott?
  23. Did I just hear the sound of a massive knee jerk? ?
