  1. It's probably been mentioned elsewhere but I think it deserves a thread of its own...I thought our support last night was outstanding, most fans standing, most singing, the noise at times was fantastic...been plenty of positive comments on various platforms today from fans of other clubs praising the numbers and the atmosphere we created even from Forest fans. Well done to one and all and it was great to see so many youngsters decked out in City gear joining in with the songs...well most of them
  2. Thanks for the info...I'm heading up more in hope than expectation and we don't do shots on goal so your keeper should be fine.
  3. Wishing (If I had a photograph of you) Flock Of Seagulls
  4. No still there...couple of minutes later and I probably wouldn't have been...I was very thirsty
  5. Not sure what is the most unbelievable there...is it the fact that he watched Rovers 8 years before he was born or the fact that they beat Southend 3-1
  6. Bizarrely, around me in S20 it seemed quite busy first half but loads more available seats second half..there were a few Leeds fans about that didn't reappear for the second half.
  7. Exactly this...nobody moaned about the atmosphere against West Ham, even West Ham fans were saying it was a proper old school atmosphere...as you say it's not the stand it's the people in it..although there wasn't much to get us on our feet tonight but that can work both ways.
  8. I know of 3..one local lad and two from Yorkshire, the local lad has bought tickets for City games before so would be on the database. They won't cause any issues tho and will keep quiet...well so they said
  9. Think we had sold 800 odd yesterday but that looks more like 500 !!
  10. Oh dear..I wish you hadn't said that !! Could get beat 5-1 and that would break your streak tho.
  11. We have a lot further to travel than someone like yourselves that are based in more or less the middle of the country.
  12. Not so sure..lot of interest in it as far as I can gather...spoke to quite a few today that are planning on going, some that don't go away very often...its the prize of the opponents in the 5th round that's creating the interest. If we had drawn Luton, Plymouth, Leeds etc we probably would have struggled to sell out.
  13. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on playing on a Friday night..I think as an alternative to 3pm Saturdays it's the best of the other options..I really enjoyed Friday..finished work a bit earlier and met up with some mates that can't make Saturdays and you get to spend Saturday with family etc..looking forward to next Friday.
  14. Well 12 points off the top 6 and 10 points off the bottom 4 so I'm not sure if they are promotion chasing or relegation threatened...difficult to tell
  15. Yes it was that many..my memory is not great but I'm fairly sure we had the full away end..which was an open end in those days and we had the lower tier of the main stand..the full length of the pitch. It was a great night.
  16. If we beat Forest, it will be the first time since 1920 that we have beaten 2 teams in the top flight in an FA cup run.
  17. £15 drinks...wish I could only spend £15 on drinks on an away day...I would probably skip the £20 on food though...packet of Quavers will keep me going...grab bag obviously
  18. My mistake..that was the crowd at Blackpool in December...sorry
  19. Interested to see what the crowd was there today..they had 10k against Norwich and the new barn had a bigger capacity today so as they always sell out..I'm guessing 11k ish.
