@Shaun Taylor You will love the irony from Gaschat.
That was tinpot from FGR, refused to give us more tickets and then couldn’t sell out their own home areas for the biggest game in their history at the time.

Typical spent nearly £200 on their Friday.

Don’t give up - a game where City need all their supporters
Have an issue where I use a walker on wheels so not sure also whether I can take it in.
If I can’t get to today then I aim for Blackburn and hopefully get a Disabled space with a season tick card.

I've been to many Swindon v City games since the late 70's and still the biggest game for me and much more enjoyable than playing the Gas, Oxford and Reading. Did you ever get to go to any games with your Dad?
Only Ashton Gate. FA Cup 1990. He didn’t get back to Swindon much after he came to Bristol buddy.

Who knows the real truth?! I was told the origin of ‘Boing Boing’ by a Baggies fan - but many more of them may support your theory instead - oh well, keep the faith Buster ...
Thanks BS4. I actually have faith mate. Nigel Pearson is a good manager. We were in a mess last couple of seasons.

I hope we give them the same in the return fixture
I was just going to add that the extra money would come in useful after the summer you had. Can’t hate Swindon as my dad was born there so we have some good banter.

Nah - they got it from this song when a few Baggies heard it whilst on holiday ...
Fair enough mate. More urban myth.

Like most terrace songs Bong Boing was stolen from Woking when they got beat at home with Tim Buzaglo being exceptional

Surely if you’re someone looking to take over a pub or he rising sun is perfect . It’s normally rammed inside and out on a Saturday
Having lived 3 doors down from Wedlock’s for 20 years I would agree the football is a good earner for 9 months of the year. To make money during the week and the summer you need things like pool teams, darts teams and possibly a football team.
When I was local there was darts 3 nights of the week and a regular Friday meeting by a group called the RAOB. It was still quiet during the day.
Personally I went in there every Friday night with mates, all home games and when I got off the CATS coach after an away game. My mum and dad each played for a darts team.

Shameful, made worse because other Rovers supporters were telling those who started the booing to shut up - which only added to the noise. I didn't really care about the result that evening.
I don't think there's any moral ground to be gained by either club with regards to this sort of thing, unfortunately we both have history. Rovers were also guilty of the Aberfan chant, as I'm sure other clubs were at the time.
I just want to say I really enjoy your posts. They are sane sensible and reasoned. We may support rivals but they are fair minded.
Unfortunately I have so agree with you as both clubs had a rather bad reputation with a minority which was not helped with a sheep mentality of people following.

Hard to believe some of ours saw fit to do that. The Aberfan chant was vile too. Hope ours never stoop that low again.
Although this does not excuse the actions of our fans the gas retaliated by booing throughout the minutes silence for our then chairman Des Williams at the Louis Donowa derby game.

Sorry to be a downer but I just hope people can be trusted. If you notice a lot of the areas that were Tier 2 moved to Tier 3
