2005 as well apparently, I'm sure I was lurking for a few years before that. I miss a few of the more original posters like Nibor who springs to mind

Brilliant from Coventry to get rid of the selfish sorts

The Office (UK): Ipswich Town edition
cidercity1987 replied to LondonBristolian's topic in Football Chat
He's a high risk man. When it's fails he runs off (here and others) When it works he looks like a god (Ipswich). I don't think he did anything differently at Ipswich but stumbled across a great manager. In an alter universal they don't get promoted and face the same financial problems he put us in. -
I couldn't even tell you what our first choice team was that season certainly before Adebola came in. None of our strikers or AMs like Noble started more than about 20 games and generally two of them started at once. We seemed to have more strength in depth through a lot less injuries than in recent seasons though

Is it just me that wishes this match was in Tilburg? We never get a European trip but it would be quality

Most clubs seem to provide a list of In contract players Out of contract and released Out of contract and in negotiations Not quite like the past where we lost the play off final one day and the next day announced our top goalscorer was out on his ass (Byfield)

They've waited 15 years until opinion of the board is at its lowest ebb, to pull this one of the 'shit, how do we get the fans onside' playbook

Hope Oxford beat Bolton, an interesting addition to the Champ and very little chance of competing up the league

How TF do Madrid always find a way

Ian Evatt 'that was an anticlimax, jobs not done, we need to focus, enjoy it but not overcelebrate'. Camera pans to the Bolton players drinking beers with the fans
-
Bolton players loving the pitch invasion

Going forward it's very good but at the back, terrible aside from Greaves. Both of their goalkeepers are awful.
-
Casemiro as CB has been in the same half as about one of the goals

The League Two table in February is totally insane. Even going into March then were 20 odd points behind Crewe and managed to finish above them
-
Home support in terms of tickets sold is bloody great. Our away support remains fairly poor though, no reason we should have a lower average than the likes of Preston and QPR
-
You are being incredibly disingenuous Rob Tinnion took over after two 3rd place finishes with the expectation of promotion, finished 7th and unbelievably got smashed 7-1 in the third tier. 36% win rate in that league is absolutely terrible.
-
Dread to think what the score is going to be, Chelsea will be so motivated to smash us
-
Well Oxfords results are certainly far worse under Buckingham than they were under Manning, dunno if the commentator mentioned that
-
Holden loved 2 10's
-
Lansdown is bloody lucky we had the shite history before him, fans way too accepting of mediocre and our place in the hierarchy Given our fanbase and resources it's been 25 years of utter failure

Points per game and League table since Manning took charge
cidercity1987 replied to Mr Popodopolous's topic in Football Chat
Don't know about anyone else but I'm not judging Manning on his inferior PPG. I'm judging Lansdown and Tinnion. That for me continues next season -
Never seen a fanbase so chilled about relegation. They think they will storm the league and come back stronger Can't say I disagree tbh

I hope Blackburn go down, I think they are the third worst team in the league Edit oops -

Ultimately this is one of the reasons we are so shit as a club. Bristol has nothing to prove -

Very poor performance and score so far Manning didn't need any negativity going through the summer break and this was a crucial game for him to see if he could match Pearson/Fleming PPG
