Sounds like he fancied a longer summer break
-
We've been battered into submission now by a clearly inept board who are lucky that results haven't been bad
-
So players who better themselves are the enemy? The ones we spit out aren't good enough to be heroes. So that leaves the bang average ones to be legends? Seems a bit strange to me

Written by a QPR Wouldn't even be the best ground in League Two

He must have still been injured when he came on against Rotherham (I think). Turned from a guy who looked like he was running through treacle to a good Championship performer. I agree with others that Max is more solid and Tanner has been most improved but both of those have come with greater experience. Also Mehmeti is doing very well which seems more down to Manning. Tommy has gone backwards as has Sykes although that might be due to injury.

FFP in the WSL. Why cant Lansdown buy success ?
cidercity1987 replied to The Humble Realist's topic in Football Chat
Why didn't Lansdown get us established in the Prem in the 2000's before FFP was a thing and before other very wealthy owners joined the party Who bloody knows -
What a result from Glos to give up only 2 wickets all day
-
Boom Boom Jamie McCombe That overhead kick v Wolves wow, wouldn't see any of that nonsense these days
-
Truly meaningful, Birmingham and Millwall this season. We went into them in good form and on the cusp of the play offs. Failed to put them away and drifted down the table. I had a feeling at the time our season might pan out more successfully if we'd managed to crack the top six and prove we could play against the low block

Didn't even hit his hand/arm let alone being in an unnatural position or deliberate, whatever the rule is these days. I'd rather not have got a wrong un in a totally meaningless midtable match tbh. All those saying it's a clear handball let's come back to see your reaction when a decision like that those against us in a truly important game
-
That's a shite away following given the importance of the game for them
-
Always been a problem at Ashton Gate Ultimately its probably because we have a higher percentage of fans compared to other clubs where the result isn't the be all and end all. Having a day out on the booze with mates or a nice family outing to 85 mins of football before the kids get bored.
-
How to say you don't think it was a penalty without saying it wasn't a penalty. I'd be fuming if that was given against us, I'm not sure it even hit his hand !
-
It wasn't a penalty let's be fair, hard luck on Huddersfield for sure

Huddersfield Town at home match thread
cidercity1987 replied to Jerseybean's topic in The Havanatopia Match Day Archive
Brilliant on the Huddersfield forum 5 mins added 'Whattt Wheres has 5 mins come from' Helik down wasting time 'good shithousing Helik' Pen in the eighth min 'WTF it was only 5 mins where has the cheating ref got 8 from' shouldn't laugh as I would rather Stoke went down -

Pretty obvious that Wednesday was due to a terrible error strewn performance from Blackburn. 0 shots in that whole half? -

Never seen us line up without a CB before -
I think that's Plymouth just about safe especially with their GD? Great few days for them including the late equaliser v QPR
-
Shit from Carey, shit from the ref never a foul in 2024 let alone 25 years ago
-
I would absolutely bloody love it, very deluded club as to their true size Less fans than us this season
-
Is this to put my top 5 or to guess the most popular top five?? Mine is Dickie, O'Leary, Tanner, Vyner, James
-
I think Stroud got that right by the laws as the goalie still had two hands on the ball Very lucky for Swansea though
-
He's been brilliant since last regaining his place in the team, I love his style If Bentley is good enough for a Prem wage then Max definitely is which yes is a bit worrying because otherwise that's the keeper position sorted for the next half decade or more

I don't quite know what to make of that In hospitality with a Blackburn fan and I feel sorry for her, they were awful -
