  1. Brentford away, Boxing day 2003 (Losing play off final season). Had a call to go last minute, 1-0 down with about 20 mins to go, Fans started chanting for Lita, on he came. Scored two in about 5 mins, we won 2-1. Vaguely remember Cider and Wurzels in one of the pubs before and after as well? Great day. Torquay away as well, again Lita the star, Hat-trick (I think) although we didn't know he'd scored until he came running out of the fog, celebrating. Couldn't see the goal at the other end! First trip to Fleetwood away was decent as well, mainly because a group of us had stayed in Blackpool for the weekend, and obviously some good memories of Tinnion Park, including Christian Roberts and bricks at coach windows!
  2. Head of departments meeting at 11.30am today at AG apparently...
  3. Not one single suggestion for Holloway??
  4. Korey asked to come off after taking a knock according to LJ's post match press conference, can only assume that with no Nagy or Massengo on the bench, COD seemed the best available option to him?
  5. Sorry if it has been mentioned before, but surely a fee that low would be making room for a player coming our way, whether it be a loan or permanent?
  6. I think this guy, and a few others very similar, now sit at the back of S23 by me, absolute belters.

Have to keep these two together, also free's up Josh to push forward, making a massive difference at the moment.
  8. We get a lot of these kind of bets, few mates chucking a couple of quid in each, to win stupid amounts if money. Yes, hardly ever comes in, but most people don't miss £2 or so on a Saturday. We had a guy up in Yorkshire a few months back put a Fiver on a 175,000/1 fixed odds 8-fold and it came in. £875,000 in 90 minutes. And yes before anyone says it, I see people lose hundreds, sometimes thousands on a daily basis, so works both ways. Even though I work in a bookies, I love seeing most people win.
  9. Wanted Wales and Scotland to lose, but found a nice little enhanced Treble at 7/2 (with Poland), so that made it better.

Or, a great striker in his time, who talks passionately about the game that he loves. Yet you still use this thread to have a dig at a current City player, Weird.
  11. Eliasson is key for me. Palmer was the same when Afobe was playing.

Apparently sticking to his word about visiting the Gate after the recent interview on 5 live with LJ, I've been told he's coming down on Wednesday.
  13. Nope, me and the boy going. £29 for two tickets on the terrace. £40 for minibus, £70 for tickets and transport for two
  14. Tap, Lions, Robins, AG. #natchattack
