  1. Agree. Needs a good clean. Agree, always struck me as cheap that we just let the red paint fade to pink, and the pink faded paint steadily fade to the weird pale colour it is now.
  2. This is what happens when you prioritise ability with the feet over the core fundamentals of goalkeeping. Onana is a fantastic footballer. But a truly league 2 standard goalkeeper.
  3. This is a very peculiar trend I have to say. I believe the first of these that started going viral were hand made by collectors who wanted to salvage shirts of yesteryear that had been damaged/weren’t wearable. But when clubs are specifically manufacturing new “mash up shirts”, I think the charm is lost.
  4. Ah good to hear that they are helpful. I have a bit of a query myself. I’m wanting to basically pay off my monthly DD for STs in one fell swoop/lump sum. I had thought about asking on a match day but can’t imagine that’s the best time. Maybe I’ll give them a call?
  5. How on Earth did teams travel to each other in those days! Train? Horse and cart? Some of those journeys I still wouldn’t make now!
  6. Agree with this. I believe Headhunter used to work in the local media? It shows. His hosting is much better (imo) than 3PIP and OSIB. Also agree on your secondary point. FBC works because there’s a mixture of views. Not just the same old pro-club, pro-regime nonsense.
  7. Could be worse guys, I’m at the bears game and we are losing to Sale
  8. As a fellow male who gets resting turd face, I totally get it.
  9. Meh. I’m certainly not gonna get on his back. However he’s gonna have to do a lot to convince me this is a decent appointment.
  10. Proper shorts. None of this 70s and 80s hot pants nonsense.
  11. I’ll be slightly disappointed if we don’t hear (from the clubs perspective) JL talk about a long, arduous process where we conducted ample due diligence only to opt for the “great human” Liam Manning.
  12. Open the roof? What a flat, flavourless managerial appointment.
  13. Not alone, but think the opportunity has been missed. The 100th anniversary would’ve made sense, but we’ve well passed that now.
  14. Alternatively if you learn to expect disappointment, then anything beyond that is a success! It’s the Bristol City way!
  15. I want them to come down as it’s a good away day. Brighton likewise, but can’t see that happening.
  16. For me, that has often been due to poor culture (drink), bad managerial choices, or board mismanagement of the club as a whole. It is very possible to be attack minded and “on the front foot” in this league, and challenge for promotion. I’d much rather see that style of play, and the players that demonstrate it, than passive and ultimately safe sideways and backwards passing. I won’t slate James for being a “safe” player. He puts on a red shirt, he gets my support. But I’ve never got out of my seat watching him play. He’s alright and that’s about it.
  17. Merson is spot on here. Perhaps didn’t articulate himself very clearly, but his point is totally accurate. Morrison showing he hadn’t done his homework at all.
  18. Which would be money well spent, IMO.
  19. Perhaps, but ultimately I pay my money to be entertained not to watch safe and conservative play. Football is a game of opinions, I will always prefer to watch a midfield player capable of taking the ball, turning, and driving at the opposition. TGH does this, he gets my support wholeheartedly.
  20. Downsy had said that the reading would take place, followed by the last post, followed by a period of silence which would end on the referee’s whistle. Just my opinion but the Sheff Weds fan who shouted out after barely a few seconds didn’t show much class or respect.
  21. 100% agree. Jekyll and Hyde-like performance. GK is definitely an area we can upgrade.
