Bat Fastard
Does anyone know why we were not let into the stadium until gone 6.45 tonight. It is usually much earlier.

Big C
There was a fire alarm at about 6.15 so that may have something to do with it
DavidNoble
Apparently some stewards didn't turn up or were ill so they had to rope some in (nightclub bouncer agency's or something). It did look ridiculous. The club tell everyone to get down early (and spend their money) and loads of people are waiting outside for ages. Not the best first impression for many new city fans. Bat Fastard
I tend to arrive early to find a parking space that allows a quick getaway after the game. So I was left kicking my heels for 45 minutes. I don't drink beer in the fans village because I drive 45 miles after the game. We are normally allowed in by about 6.15 - so I just wondered why. CyderInACan
Well there was an alarm going off in the SBG at some point so there may have been a test or something? Either that or it was to alert the staff #DMS that @Bristol Rob had just turned up and they only had a short time to disguise the Chippy as a Pasty Bar. 1960maaan
What with the ground not open , but the weather was OK and the Fan park is ideal for this situation , food, drink and live bands. Then the mens toilets in the Lansdown being washed out before the game , be glad when we get a new ground.
