I will take bettering 10th next season whatever our squad.

Great season, thanks again Lj, MA, SL.

Bring on August

Ignore all the Gas and critical posts

We love you City!

You're becoming a parody of yourself.

Sorting the realists from those who play too much fantasy F.A

We were 2nd best today as we have been a few times in 2018 but what a great season!

It may be a while until we reach results like 2017 but we will continue to support the club we love

That's probably the only thing you've written I've ever agreed with.

We'll go down next year.

Is there anyone with a balanced view on this forum?

The first half of the season was bloody fantastic beyond our dreams.

The second half was awful.

LJ is neither a messiah giving us a great season nor a failure who deserves the sack.

Forget the first half of the season. You can only look at the way we are playing now and which direction the momentum is taking us

Tired of defending the club in the name of broad progress. We had a wonderful opportunity and we comprehensively blew it.

As fans I think it’s fair to say we didn’t demand promotion. But we did demand that, having put ourselves in such a great position at Christmas, we gave ourselves the very best shot at it. But we collapsed inexcusably and failed miserably to strengthen the side. Woeful.

Youll have to tell me which bit of the above isn’t “realist” enough for you.

I think we would all happily take bettering 10th but in case you missed it the second half of the season was relegation form. Let's hope those running our club ate not as complacent and short sighted.

Ill have some of what you're smoking Hampshire.

Much tougher next season with, on paper, Stoke, West Brom, and Swansea down - all who know what it takes to get out of this division. Wigan and Blackburn up., also know how tough it can be.

Id snap your hand off for 16th and safety under LJ without Reid, Bryan, and Flint next season.

Slight aside but I reckon it’ll more likely be Southampton than Swansea - they play each other this week (Swansea home), then Southampton have Man City at home on the final day while Swansea are home to Stoke.

I’ve read this sort of shit before. From you I think.

Never played fantasy FA in my life. The boys do.

Mediocrity as someone else has said. If that’s sufficient for you then good on you.

I expect more. Far more. 2nd at Christmas to that crock of shit.

Thing is we’ve renewed. As we always will. Perhaps I’m the problem......

Every bit of it.

He’s deluded.

We have been 2nd best for most of 2018 and the results bear that out and that's the true reality.
