Also on the same episode.. trigger goes to dels flat for a lift to the nags head... even though he has to walk past the nags head to get to dels flat! They don’t make them like they used to! Well John Sullivan said that when he had the idea for Only Fools in his mind, he took his notepad and sat in a south east London pub and within an hour all the characters had walked in...he saw a Mickey Pearce, a Denzil, a Trigger, a Rodney, a Boycie and a Del-boy....interestingly though, neither David Jason nor Nicholas Lyndhurst were anywhere near first choice for the roles of Del-boy and Rodders...but I can’t imagine it without them!
