Because it went down well on the Weimann thread and as we know how much @Robbored just  lives for these threads to give his days some meaning I thought I’d start my first and last ever chant suggestion thread.

So, never to be heard down Ashton Gate, here it is in all its, umm, glory?

You put your left fang in, your left fang out,

In out in out you snake it all about,

You sign your rivals striker just to f*** them off,

Thats what it’s all about!

Woah Matty Taylor,

Woah Matty Taylor,

Woah Matty Taylor!

Bristol’s Red so f*** the gas!

Do your worst to me otib! ?

I really like it and all good football songs need an F word - my only comment would be f them OFF rather than f them UP !?!

Would be popular and funny IMHO !!

Can be any word you like as it’s never gonna be heard ?

I always say that every character was born to play those roles... the comedy was nothing short of genius! I was brought up by my great uncle on only fools... he brought me up with Bristol city as well!

Well John Sullivan said that when he had the idea for Only Fools in his mind, he took his notepad and sat in a south east London pub and within an hour all the characters had walked in...he saw a Mickey Pearce, a Denzil, a Trigger, a Rodney, a Boycie and a Del-boy....interestingly though, neither David Jason nor Nicholas Lyndhurst were anywhere near first choice for the roles of Del-boy and Rodders...but I can’t imagine it without them! Jim Broadbent (who played Slater in Only Fools) was actually first choice for Del-boy....
