Sheffield Wednesday game and Ipswich games were fine last season, so I'd assume this will be too.

Difference this time were in mid winter and sun not very strong . Last time was march time and temps shot up next day melting everything pretty sharpish.  If it snowed Friday instead of today, would be a real risk but should just be ok for Saturday.

See the bbc and the met office have got it wrong again

Not down here they haven`t. Been chucking it down since about 4 and a good 3-4 inches outside my house. 100 cars stuck in snow on Bodmin Moor. I won`t be going to work tomorrow and just hoping it`s cleared away by Saturday or we`ll have to beat the Swans without me.

Note:- last time I got snowed in and missed a home game we beat Wednesday 4-0!

There was more snow against Sheffield Wednesday last season and the game went ahead. Only difference is that was with a crowd of 15,000 not over 22/23,000.

I think it will just get called off on police advice.

And it was start of spring and temps shot up next day . Melting it quickly.  It was bloody vile down there for that game . Very slushy

For anyone unable to read a weather map

STOP PANICKING !!!!!

When did people become such worriers about the damn weather?

We get the same rubbish on here when there is rain forecast, and it's not that much snow out there, chill the heck out everyone!!

Agree 100%, never known so many people panic over a bit of snow

5-6 inches at it's deepest in my garden in Southville and still coming down.

It's not so much fans panicking and thinking it should be called off, more being wary about how hypercautious health and safety is these days.

Let me try to help you here

The forecast is for it to STOP snowing lunchtime, then rain and warming weather is in the rest of today and sunshine tomorrow

Well, there ain`t no sign of any rain and warming weather on it`s way up to you from down here in Devon at the moment. Still bitter and snowing a bit. Hopefully you`re right though although I can see the game being on but I can`t get there.:grr:

Didn't I tell you that yesterday and also said game will be ok .I said if it came a day later then it would be doubtful . This is why I rarely post on here.
