Bluebirds v Owls Tonight

Recommended Posts

With Baadiff on 16 points, Owls on 19 and us in 6th place on 20 points, what outcome would we like tonight?

Wednesday have a better goal difference than us, so a point would drop us to 7th.  Personally, I normally prefer to see these games end in draws so that both teams drop 2 points.  What do the rest of you think?

A few injuries, sending offs and suspensions wouldn't go amiss, I suppose as I see both as a potential threat as the season progresses.

A draw by way of a last gasp Wednesday equaliser would suit me just fine.

An offside one (with the lino asleep)... even better.

or a "ghost goal" would be better again

You always have to hope you get to see Mr W go into full apoplectic mode so either of these please.

A draw is four points dropped rather than three.

Always a draw if it's two teams you're competing with.

From a points  perspective you’re spot on but I dislike Colin and Cardiff intensely and would love to see them get beaten.

I do have a soft soft spot for the Owls as well.............:cool2:

Flint & Pack both starting, Tomlin on the bench

Tomlin to come on as sub, shout abuse at a young player, leading to Pack and Flint confronting him.

Ensuing scrap sees all three sent off.

Just gone 1-0 Weds.

Poor game thus far

Poor defending from Marlon it has to be said, just let the bloke do what he wanted and only hung a leg out. Good dinked finish mind.

Etheridge appears incapable of kicking a ball in open play. Three times he`s put his team in trouble now.

On record saying I thought he had just been in really good form for the last 18 months & never rated him 'that' much.

Also on record saying the same for Flint & Bryan (defensively), they were both mainstays in one of the worst Championship defences for 3 years.

Fantastic riveting atmosphere I see 🙄

Almost 2 0 Wednesday against the bar

The commentator actually said the atmosphere had gone up a notch when Cardiff had a free kick just now.

Presumably he meant from non-existent to a slight murmur.

In case any of you are interested, Bristol lead Bath by 31-16 with a bonus point.

I can`t stand rugby but I suspect even I would be enjoying that more than this shitfest.

Tomlin up to his old tricks there, a sneaky dig on Borner the wrong side of the ref.

I said it some weeks ago. I think we should go for Danny Ward of Cardiff. He came on tonight. He hardly ever starts but he is a tidy hard working striker who has a bit of everything imo.

Contract up at the end of the season. Shouldn't cost loads hopefully in January. Would suit partnering Weimann I reckon.

Stroud does it again, no foul and flint offside interfering with play

Let's face it, he's not the sort of ref you hardly notice....  ie the GOOD ones.
