Massive game for LJ surely the end for him with a defeat.

Wishful thinking, if they made tanks out of whatever LJ is made of they would be indestructible.

Have to say that a front four of Eliasson, Palmer, Watkins and Famara seems...muddled? Not sure what the right word is but I can't see what the plan is there. Seems a little bit like lobbing an awful lot of mud at the wall in the hope that something sticks.

Happy to be proved wrong in an hour's time.

But LJ has told us Eliasson and Palmer cannot play in the same team...

Has he?    Got a link to where he said that?      :dunno:

Woke up this morning and thought... I wasn't going to bother going today, we've been dire of late, but maybe I'll make the effort.

Then the full force of my hangover hit me and I went back to bed.

More INTERESTING NEWS as it happens.

My head hurts.

They Both started against Boro if I remember correctly so it’s clearly a load of BS

At last, something positive.

Now go show ‘em Taylor-Moore.

Continuous improvement, commitment and desire. The makings of a fighter and winner, with good athleticism and decent skill.

Go show the rest how it’s done, but don't lose focus on your own game.

Perhaps he wants to prove that to be the case?  :whistle2:

After the Fulham game, this had the look of a free hit match - rest a few and give "fringe " players a run out. Now it has become  the proverbial banana skin, and the way things have felt since the Brentford defeat it does feel as though a defeat could see SL getting the coffin and nails out of the cupboard.

That being the case, I cannot believe that LJ would "risk" selecting both NE and KP unless he genuinely felt they could do the job he requires.

Plenty of signing the Palmer song today please!

Good to see the club catering for it's deaf fans.

Our resident City Journo with his finger firmly on the pulse?   Shows how credible his non-story about KP is.  😴💤

It's a funny old game isn't it?

6 months ago many fans on here were all for getting shot of TM. Just when he was starting to show signs of his ability playing alongside Kalas,  Kalas gets crocked and then he gets injured himself.  For all that Webster is a big miss, the fact that he's stepped up to replace a £20m player, and has not disgraced himself ( despite the head coach outing him) says a lot for his character, let alone his ability.

Interesting that he's been made captain when in a team of older and more experienced players, in light of LJ's assertion that we lack leaders.

Why do we open the whole ground for a game like this . Surely we could consolidate people for one game . There’ll be minimal atmosphere with such a small attendance .
Ive seen various teams do it . Surely cuts back on steward costs etc ?

You have to take a minute to consider mental health, but I don't think you'll ever stop all the nutters getting in because some of them are hard to spot.

Three mentions of signings in this thread from three credible sources.  Any other information?  Also,  shouldn't these be in the transfer forum?

But...   didn’t I read somewhere that LJ hates Palmer, refuses to play him and wants rid? This lineup must be a lie, surely? ;)

Relying on a player he's not treated very well to come in and save his bacon more like.

Will Kasey try?

If he's rubbish he's more likely to get loaned out.

And the manager is more likely to get fired.

So we'll see how professional Kasey is!
