So sad ... maybe not of coronavirus but still a hero for giving up ventilator RIP x

So Sad, my thoughts go to the family & friends.

I lost my Grandad approx 50yrs ago & still get a lump in the throat, tear in the eye when I think of him but he had a saying when he heard of people losing loved ones & it was:

" People Only Die when No-One Remembers Them".

R.I.P Old Fella, you'll be around for a long, long time.

Sincere condolences to Taylor and his family. It appears that his Grandad was a very special person who was willing to help someone else in great need.

A lesson for us all. Would we do the same?

Be strong Taylor and cherish his memory.

Thoughts are with family and friends.

Just read Taylor’s post again - his Grandad is an utter hero.

I salute him.

Just catching up on this now after not having access to my phone all evening, glad you managed to edit the title @Chessels Chick

What an awful loss for Taylor, but what a beautiful tribute to his Grandad. It's times like this family's need to get together and be there physically and emotionally for eachother, this virus is just so cruel.

Wow.

A real hero. Sounds a total gent and someone you’d be truly proud to call your grandad.

His legacy lives on with his grandson, who seems to be a top lad and appears to be one of life’s good guys.

RIP and condolences to the family for their loss.

Really sad. Sadly come the end of this most of us will have lost a family member, friend or someone who they know.

Yes and we won’t have been able to attend their funeral to say our final goodbyes . My friend lost her Father ,  and only her Mother , herself and her two Brothers can attend the funeral.

So sad to hear of your loss TM.

I'm not one to get emotional easily but that picture brought a tear to my eye. I bet he was one of those old school guys who would wear a shirt and tie whatever the day.

RIP Grandad.
