Williams himself told us on Robins TV that he expected to be back for the Barnsley match on 17 October.  More than 3 weeks later and he isn’t even training with the squad yet. Something must have gone horribly wrong.

Yep, injury recovery isn’t always a smooth line, setbacks happen.

Paterson added to the list? Wonder how long he's out for, he was missing at QPR due to injury iirc.

I think he’s carrying a hip injury, he has been playing through it by the seems of it, so hopefully just rest required.  Holden was due today to be discussing his readiness for involvement tomorrow.

Anyone think the whole Williams/Walsh thing seems dodgy? I hope they are only injured and nothing more to it than that.

Snippet from bbc presser today. Dean saying. Walsh back in training start of February . Hopefully williams back before the end of the season 🙄

medical department or club really should update us on this. Im certainly no medical expert in the slightest but , nearly a year out with a thigh injury !

Williams and/or Walsh injuries very dodgy. Something not quite right. 6 weeks ago they were both 3-4 weeks away and now both out for pretty much whole season

It would be nice to know what the setbacks were, or whether they’ve picked up new injuries, or change in diagnosis.

@Clevedon Red do you reckon it was Williams you saw on crutches?
