Warnock would not be a long term solution, but I think without getting in someone who has been there, seen it and done it, in the very near future, we are nigh on nailed on for relegation.  Once that is prevented, there is plenty of time to see if Nige can return or if we are looking to build with a longer term successor.

What I mean is you clearly don't think its allowed for anyone to have a different point of view to you. BS4 has been very reasonable with his posts. You have been the opposite. It's uncalled for to label someone as mental just because their point of view differs to yours.

Oh what bollocks. Warnock is a hated figure at out club for many reasons. Fawning over him as a city fan  is a terrible look.

In your opinion. This is a public forum though. So guess what, there are different opinions to yours, and you have to respect those opinions even if you don't agree with them.

Following the update today I feel that Warnock at City is more probable than it has ever been before!

(Short-term)

How many more clubs does he have to fail at before people give up on the idea that he is anywhere near the successful Manager he once was?

This pining for him has become as embarrassing as some of the long running threads on players who were never ever coming here, in the Transfer Forum.

I don’t think people are pining for him, just being realistic and his stats are no worse now than at nearly anytime in his career….

How he got a tune out that rotherham team i dont know.

Recall he gave lj plenty of verbals in the interview after, we played them down here.

I do recall that NW said himself he rates what he did at Rotherham in keeping them in the Championship was his greatest achievement.  He would sort out our shower and give him this coming window to get some loans in….. that said I cannot see it happening, but it would be a good fix.

I respect other posters opinions but I absolutely hate Colin with a passion!

Have said before, the day that horrible git walks through the door at Ashton Gate, my season ticket is returned. Nothing else would make me do that.

So 60 years, man and boy, supporting City......gone.

Overrated?

Look at his achievements at this level.
he must be the most successful championship-level manager ever in the history of the game.
Ok you don’t like him - but overrated he is not.
