He was only involved with Massengo.

My understanding was that Scott and Semenyo were signed by the Academy/U23s? Think it may have been Probert?

As CEO he would have presumably have been involved in everything I.e. links to the local football sides that spotted Semenyo. Scott is probably more down to the Lansdown/Guernsey relationship I suppose but Pring came from FGR.

I know he's the spawn of Satan to many on here but he can't only be responsible for the bad and none of the good

This was the problem in a nutshell though.

Created a monopoly of responsibility with zero accountability which made it easy for Ashton to take credit for anything remotely good that his slimy tentacles had brushed.

A competent CEO would have specialists in all areas, not a web of family, friends and money-makers that enabled him to have an almost unchallengeable coverage on the club.

Is he?? Not seen that anywhere, was hoping we would see James, Williams and Massengo together at some point.

Unfortunately so. Currently in a brace. Might be risked if we are struggling but otherwise no need, will be rested up for next season. Recurring problem with his foot.

Not just online. Preston fans outside the ground after the game were singing his praises. Best player we’ve seen here this season. Why isn’t he playing in the Prem. Can we have him please!

Shout out to Scott too. Tuesday and again today we’ve had two young players running midfield, as that central pair that most clubs look for experience, steady head etc to fill (James and King anyone?!). We’ve got two youngsters looking increasingly comfortable there. Fantastic.

Been a real pleasure to watch him and Scott in midfield together last 3 games. Not sure I've seen technically two better players play for us. How old are they 20 and 19? Pretty much ran 3 games in a row now.

Think we are lucky to have them both. They look like they could easily become elite level players.

Brownhill was very good at that sort of age too but HNM is ahead of him as a 20 year old for me. So much potential for this lad, could see him playing for France one day.

How did Cundy look when he came on in the 2nd half. A back 3 of Kalas, Cundy and

I’m not sure I saw him touch the ball, other than to take a throw-in.  I’m glad I’ve got to see him in a City first team shirt.  He’s had the battle back from a big knee op (not sure exactly what he did, not ACL though), and fair play to Nige / Dave for keeping him motivated, selecting him on the bench and having the faith in him to bring him on late on.

Lets hope we see him some more at some point so we can see whether he’s good enough.  Would be a shame to see him leave w/o having seen him.  Got to stand a chance of getting another year….don’t you think?

It's like we have all these budding stars and next season looks so exciting.

Then will they still be here?

With just a few signings we could be around the top these young lads are so confident, never seen it before at this level.

But here we are again on the cusp, the future is bright. Can we hold onto most of them for a year or two?

Gotta say fair play to Preston fans. Never usually see positive comments from other clubs about our players so it's nice to see.

Good to see Massengo has got his mojo back, the injury in October set him back a bit.

To be fair, pretty much every opposition team we’ve played against with Massengo featuring has highlighted him this season.

I dont know about that, had fans smashing up our toilets last week and many a bitter fan calling us 'relegation fodder'. It's just good to see many good praise for a change.
