Troy isn't employed by anyone. It's a spoof. He just turns up in character at places and does this. It's an act. Particularly when B&Q don’t like “greeting people”. This, and the celeb awards, just seem to have jumped the shark though. It’s not about the prank, it’s about being a performing monkey.
