Not sure why, but this is worth watching.

What a load of crap!

Leave that sort of function for business people. I cannot see that it will help footballers to train and play any better than an ass kicking or verbal bollocking from manager or chief coach!

You've totally misunderstood.

Troy isn't employed by anyone.

It's a spoof.

He just turns up in character at places and does this. It's an act. He's a comedian.

Reminds me of a work call that was once passed to me from a very angry individual. When I slammed the phone down 10 minutes later, exasperated, I looked around to find the rest of my team in stitches. It was just a recorded 0898 line that I'd been spoofed with. No amount of charm is going to work in that situation :)

He's brilliant. Been watching his stuff for a few weeks now.

My favourite was when he was stood outside Weatherspons.

He Greeted a woman with...' welcome...you won't want to leave, and our sticky carpets won't let you'. ???

Another one:

Woman: 'Is there a toilet?'

Troy: 'No, no, no. We all have to improvise I'm afraid.'

I'll have to look him up on youtube, although I suffer from acute secondhand embarrassment so it'll take me a while to get through anything like this.

I don’t know if it’s me, but I loved Troy Hawke at WH Smith, B&Q, Wilkos etc (go on his Twitter - they’re great. Particularly when B&Q don’t like “greeting people”.

This, and the celeb awards, just seem to have jumped the shark though. It’s not about the prank, it’s about being a performing monkey.

Just me though

Can imagine it gets tiresome quickly, was sent it earlier and hadn't heard of the fella involved before, so for me it was a fresh discovery.
