2 down and Twine and Medube sitting on the bench. What brilliant signings

Yet to show any real signs of progress says the commentator ...

Odds on who starts the first meltdown thread? Will anyone go early?
-
Might as well go Cornick and Wells

Why wait to 60 for the inevitable changes?

Off. You can still move as a lone striker.

Enough to score
Which does not mean that we played badly in that half. Neither team excelled, we did well to contain when needed and had good possession up top, but lack movement for killer passes. Happy, no, but balance of interpretation required. Far from shit show predicted by some. Will WBA go for it and up pace now? Yes. Can we live with it and do something different? Manning's history says no but we shall see.

Did you for one second in that half think "we might have half a chance of scoring a goal?". You could argue the, complete fluke clearance, to Tommy was a chance like that, I can't think of anything else.
If Tommy chips keeper when he is back peddling, yes. How many chances did they create?

Times up Manning, 45 minutes of boring defensive nothingness crap to go in at half time losing.
To be fair, we had the better of that half, they, like many, simply quicker and more decisive around the box. Wells on for me. Need more movement up front.

Roberts isolated and stood off, Johnson creates havoc with his runs but can't all go towards the ball.

Lots of bodies wide when they attack the flanks , doing well with that threat so far.

Lots of passes around their box but little else. Conway so static. Decent half with minimal drama but need more movement from all up top.

Left foot chip the finish there

‘Stiff hamstring’ for Williams, and a pretty pointed ‘get behind the lads’ comment from Manning. That’s a what we call a double pre-match zinger.
Said with enthusiasm and genuine warmth I thought.

Be an interesting motivation tactic to drop the bloke who created our goal last Sunday & was a threat throughout.
"Happy for Anis to have a stormer tracking back and winning tackles.".
One man's "drop" is another man's tactical decision.

Mehmeti worries me here. This is a game for discipline. Him in front of Roberts? That is our weakness right there for a team that kills teams down the flanks. Happy for Anis to have a stormer tracking back and winning tackles.
Rather have Roberts in front of Pring or vice verse.
