  1. whilst i fully appreciate your reasoning and agree with all of this, we still have players that have tried to keep us moving even with the last however longs ethos being thrown out the window. cant have been easy trying to play when you already know what they are telling you to do wont work. time to shine now as the penny has finally dropped and they are reverting back to how they were set up when results did go our way more often with a bit more spice in the action, something we havent seen much of for a few months im quite enjoying seeing who people have selected as their stand outs, and one player romping the assessment.
  2. thats the team bus leaving for cheltenham, these things take time dont you know?
  3. huddersfield are below blackburn so we should get 6
  4. hes finally doing what a lot of posters have been calling for for quite a while and its worked a treat tonight. let the opposition worry about you and you will get more time to pick your passes and get into better positions. fair play to manning, took the reins off and let them have a go. brilliant result
  5. manning can still deliver this season. when he took over,we were projected to finish on 64 pts. if he could get that then id say results wise, hes done well.
  6. he cant when tinnions stood behind the reporter holding up a board with 'saints' painted on it
  7. brownhill for me too,we dont have anyone who can make something out of nothing simply by using his head (and a bit of audacity to try the impossible. the cruyff turn was sublime to watch)
  8. how about a shirt for the day?
  9. another problem on top of all that is they probably think they are on to a winner
  10. hes the spare time painter and decorator, loves his dunlops. that bucket has the blue paint for the gates in it. look closely, hes stood in it
  11. now if we could just give twine back and talk josh brownhill into coming back,id be happy.
  12. he wont get a better chance to experiment than these last 5 games, proper championship competition as opposed to a few knockabout friendlies in the summer break. its a no brainer, unless he thinks hes getting his players he wants during the transfer window
  13. fair comment ,i have no idea what he cost, i will rephrase that to valuable as in skills, knowledge etc. i would expect to pay a lot more for an experienced mechanic than an 18 year old with 2 years yts training behind him. is it not fair to assume that the same applies to a degree in football?
  14. speshly one who thinks hes doing it creckly
  15. no point sacking manning, we would only get another cheap league one manager with a few results on his cv that will say yes to anything to get a crack in the championship. the people above him got the personality they want, relying on tinnion to teach him how to manage it. with his management skills leading the way now, i fear we are in deep shit
  16. his place in devon is roughly the same as bristol to weston distance wise, its not bigbury but not a million miles from there. an easy enough commute if he wanted to do it but im not sure he would. he looks so happy and relaxed now,why would he want to do it again. hes got so much more to do with his time, im hoping he goes that way and enjoys himself, absolutely deserves it imo. one thing i do know,he would always make time to stop and chat with anyone who made a point of saying hello and asking how he was. hes not been in devon for a while now , think he went home after xmas,
  17. some of the names bookies were touting for the city job were a lot more inspiring than what we got. this is propbably just a case of the same. cant see it happening myself but who knows, be good if they stay up for any decent manager if they get the backing they deserve
  18. your going home in the back of an ambulance ( reference to hamstrings, acls or whatever else gets broke)
  19. try again mate, mine seems to be working ok,i dont use it much tho,my pc keeps me signed in,i dont ever have to log in
  20. they love it tho dont they, not that long ago,we were going to be in europe by now, we havent even got to dover yet
  21. absolutely 100%, couldnt agree more
  22. you felt it, i felt it and many others felt it too but most importantly, Nige and his team felt it , everyone was in it together which is what has been destroyed
