  1. needs a wayward antoine thunderbolt square between the eyes to push them apart a bit
  2. he ought to hang up his boots and buy shares in shirley burgers. (is it still going) would be set up for the rest of his pies. edit. rest of his years
  3. did we have the youngest least experienced mojority of squad at the start of the season?
  4. i got called in for a 24hr heart monitor fitting yesterday afternoon. the doctor fitting it was in hysterics when i told him it was the worst possible day and the machine would probably blow up about 9.30 and the reason why, it bloody did happen too and i was dreading the analysis this afternoon. thankfully i got away with it and no further tests for a year so im obviously getting used to the late disappointments. onwards and upwards, ( sideways will do for this season)
  5. problem with that being the refs in the past few games have been so clueless they might give a red
  6. hes got me feeling that much better about it all that ive got a ticket for brum, first match in one and a half seasons i think, cant remember the last one anyway
  7. Nige is a direct bullseye hit for me, so many positives since he came back from his second dose of covid. still has a nasty cough but getting on with it. i love the bloke to bits, hope he can better cotts and then attack alan dicks reputation. for the first time in a long time, we know what we are going to get. consistant inconsistancy, doesnt allow for too much expectation which makes the good performances stand out even more.
  8. i will go one better, give them park end of the dolman, kick them out 15mins early with every one else and we might not concede so many late goals
  9. dont matter where hes from if the 75/25% split in fouls against continues. i think its the dibdib dob ref society policy for outspoken managers
  10. only way to find out is to play him more.he wont get to grips with championship football sitting on the bench. i find it absolutely amazing how scott has slotted in and already one of the best players. something very special there indeed. massengo and antoine also, plus id give massengo more time before deciding hes the one to sell, hes the one thats having to adapt and learn the most
  11. reminds me of the game where the eastend bombarded shilton with bowyers pork pies . i think that was the previous season though
  12. its been the same the last three games. ridiculous amount against with hardly any for. i cant believe weve suddenly turned into a dirty team with 2 or 300% more fouls every game. personally i think it is the referees secret society dishing out a bit more on top of pearsons 5 grand fine
  13. officially better than man u this season now.enjoy your evening
  14. has SL said anything lately? im guessing NP answers directly to him so it could just be that jonboy was summoned to put in an appearance. if np had called out sl id be a bit worried but cant see this going down as anything else but a misunderstanding
  15. that still looks better than huffy puffy sweaty jock like for me anyday
  16. i think they were due to play for them so turned the sprinklers on all night to get out of it
  17. did they miss a penalty in the 2nd minute?
  18. ive got this thing in my head, watching our defenders, its like they watch the ball go through their zone so they havent got to bother exerting any effort. i dont expect anyone to try and unnderstand what im saying, but if you do,can you word it better please. ps, a bit more than passing the buck would be nice.?
  19. i feel for zac sometimes, yes he makes mistakes but his team mates cause a lot of them
  20. didnt the kitten have 4 wheels? my grandfather had a regal, lived in the bungalows at the top of cheston coombe. there were occasions when it wasnt running right that we had to get out and walk up part of the coombe as it wouldnt pull all the weight. he used to say it was my grandmother jokingly to make us laugh.i would have been 6-7 at the time
  21. i think the car is a reliant regal or robin, (rear windows) like delboys van apart from the windows, cant see any resemblence to 70s shape cortinas etc so could it be even late sixties? 1970 is a good shout but might even be earlier??
  22. i do to a degree agree with what you are saying also. i tried AA on more than one occasion and left meetings either going to the offy or pub as i found it a bit religious and depressing. everybody is different, the best thing to do is do what works for you and not what people want you to do. in anycase, you wont do anything until you really do hit rock bottom and have to try something
  23. firstly, absolutely spot on. im not looking for praise,i dont need it now as ive realised how important life is to me but i have to do it without booze. i gave up on millenium night, believe it or not,the bloke that was there for me if ever i felt i was going to relapse was robbored, (in a professional capacity) i never had to call in need but he was there for me,. something i will always be grateful for. 22years on,could i drink in moderation if i wanted to?? i still couldnt trust myself enough to try it and its certainly not worth risking my life with my partner for
