amazing performance by everyone in a red shirt and frankie of course. im surprised there were comments of a shaky defence tho,i thought nosworthy was outstanding,so cool which was rubbing off on williams who played some equally cool professional football.
ozzy was ozzy, rock solid. please mr cotts, sell el abd and give the money to nyron instead, hes 3 classes above him

he certainly brought some confidence with him, fair bit of the second half he was our only defender with everyone else trying to make a goal happen up the other end
-
why cant he get into the watford 11 tho?
i hope hes good and wish him well, as ive not been a lover of el abd so far
-
he reminds me of elmer fudd
-
On the plus side he misses the next three games.
brilliant news,i havent got to see him saturday yeeeeehaaaaaaaa
-
know it wont happen but id like to see
fielding
maloney osborne williams cunningham
waggy elliot pack bryan
jet baldock
this if flints out,if not move osborne out right and put flint in his place with maloney on the bench
-
with the pitches getting a bit tighter, looks like jets put his steelies back on.what a thump,gk never saw it coming
bryan deserves credit for his header too, some height he got up and he isnt that tall really
-
off for a lie down to slow the heart down a bit now

hes still got time to start winning. sheff utd have proved that 2 games after being below us in the table.anyone apart from the top 6-10 could get sucked into this mire during the run in.
fingers crossed some rockets were launched saturday and we can start playing again.if cloughie can do it,why cant sc? we will see
-
i thought we'd get beat at orient...wrong
i thought we'd stuff tranmere.......wrong
today i think we'll draw ...............3-0 sheff utd
who are rovers and me won today im a winner
-
on a more upbeat note,we shouldnt really be burying our heads in the sand tonight, prior to orient, most of us agreed we were going nowhere up at brammall lane today,a lot had us down for a cert zero pointer
-
But the results were dire before. If you take a particular start and finish point you might argue that there'd been an upturn, but it was just as likely to be a false dawn. Our last feeble showing v SUFC could argue that way.
One thing's unarguable however, we're no better off at present than we were.
As SC isn't going anywhere this season, I'd rather talk about how he can improve the side's performance and get us some more wins.
Moloney back in would be my first move there.
would be mine too, el abd on the bench and go back to the system he just sorted before the window opened.pearson can replace elliot and wes for waggy. leave barnett out too.wasnt there so cant criticise the bloke but the commentary today suggested his passing was poor

can we play them every week ?
-
up til the weekend, orient were cu next tuesdays for calling that game off, well tuesday came and so did city.they were right to be scared and they got beat, just like they would have done new years day,or would they??? serves them right either way :chant6ez:

Always said Flint was a good player.
hes earned 12 quid of my money for the back of my away shirt saturday
-
new game, fresh 3 points up for grabs. 0-1 city, early goal from flint. squeaky bum for 80 mins with dodgy ref adding 9 mins on each half to help them equalise
-
i would like to know when the rest of the team will learn that any ball over 6 inches above the ground will not reach baldock.
at least if a ball is lumped forward much lower down,he has half a chance of nicking it away and getting through.
a few positives tonight tho, first real show ive witnessed from wes burns, now i know what people mean,i also took note of packs level headedness, rarely put a foot wrong and flinty,my mom,a few dodgy moments with the ball at his feet but didnt get caught once and wasnt scared to put his head in at boot height
-
seeing as gillet isnt defensive, why isnt jet on for him?
-
slightly ot but after baldocks interview,sc was asked about anymore transfers. i am enthused with his 'we dont want to bring anyone in for everyday of the week except saturday'
is there anyone uninjured in our squad that he hasnt played yet?
-
as hard as i try,i cannot picture tb,keep coming up with visions of 'bleedin west 'am innit' alf garnett
-
i dont know for definate why hes here but i can only think he will be used as a sub if our either of our 2 frontmen arent getting any joy or having an off day,or get injured
-
just had a look at their pricing scheme, cat A,B and C as our games but jeez what a price range
the same seat can cost between 26 and 63 quid for example watching dross like cardiff and man u.

All seems calm now, thanks to the miracle that is loperamide (and a City win).
where did we sign him from? any rave reports anywhere?
glad to hear you on mend though, not pleasant any day of the week but matchday was terriible

id guess it was waggy as the others were all very busy, im not knocking the team performance or selection but waggy doesnt seem quite right in that wing back role defending. watches the ball well but doesnt put his boot through it like moloney allowing the attacker to get much closer .
another thing i enjoyed a lot last night was seeing JMR play as shit as only he can, i was dreading him popping in a couple of screamers
