People will appreciate what a great job Geoff does, when the new person takes over. Very big boots to fill and I'm sure there will be a period of time (hopefully a short one) when the quality will nose dive. Sound of the City and Radio Bristol coverage on a match day are great, it will be really sad if the BBC have to scrap programmes like this due to the fact that Tories are trying their best to strangle the life out of the corporation.

It was a big turn around, first 20 mins I thought Stoke were going to steam roller us, they were first to every ball, looked a yard faster and we couldn't keep possession, but we certainly grew into the game.
As an aside, man of the match award for the 1200+ City supporters, we outsang Stoke for the entire 95 mins.

After a dodgy first 20 minutes, it was a strong team performance. For me, the best players were Zak Vyner, Andy King, Matty James, Jay Dasilva and Sam Bell.

Don't forget to buy an oatcake for your lunch if travelling - sausage, onion and cheese is my personal favourite, yummy. COYR

He's not engaged his brain, only going to wind up the fans after an awful derby defeat.

No more than any other club IMO. There is nothing especially stupid or especially clever about City fans.
I fink we got more cleverer fans than most clubs.

I think their brief spell in the Championship under GJ was possibly the worst thing that could have happened to them.Sometimes that brief step up,sets you back years in the long run.A real shame for Yeovil.
Completely disagree, football should be about reaching for the stars. Yeovil in the Championship was the equivalent of us being in the Champions League. Would you really say, I wish we hadn't played Real Madrid, Ajax and Inter Milan at Ashton Gate, I think that has set us back somewhat!!!

We're mocking but this season they have sold out every game in their 9500 capacity stadium....wait they haven't???? But pre season they said every game would be a sell out!!!

Didn't know there was such a thing, thanks for highlighting. I will pay my deep sea diver.

I proposed to the Mrs on the show back in 2008 and so I am sad it has gone. That said, I've barely watched it in the past ten years and I don't think they could replicate my TV magic so it was downhill from then. Perfect day topped off with a victory at Watford after a late goal for the mighty reds.

Are people really suggesting we'd consider a move for this guy??? Next to been seen playing for Enfield FC

Haikin was on a 'pay as you play' deal, so favoured by the 'football managers/agents' of this site, so no outlay at all!

To be fair if he hadn't arranged that visit they may have lost 7-1.

.........and the fact also remains that the club is still losing an absolute ******* lorry load of money every season. If season ticket sales had to cover club costs we'd all be paying £5K plus.
not a problem when we net £40m for Alex Scott in a couple of months

The alternative was to not have a kit to play in at all. That would actually be tinpot. The 1st team had run out of kits.
Did you hear about the club who were relegated by a team wearing their kit?

I am interested to see if Pearson deems Wells, Conway, Cornick and Bell as a strikeforce to take us to the playoffs.
He's already said that it is not enough. Some of the money for Antoine will be invested in another striker in the summer.

The only surprise is Bell over Memehti but other than that with injuries it picks itself. The big risk tonight is their CBS as set plays as all 3 are big units.
Mehmeti might have a slight injury or even be feeling under the weather for all we know. It is not something that Nigel would advertise to the opposition.

Whatever the circumstances it is desperately sad and my thoughts are with the family of the man that died. It is however, even worse if he was an innocent bystander. If as some people are implying, he was part of a Blackpool mob that attacked a Burnley pub, he would have been aware of the risks associated with that behaviour. As I said, I'm not trying to make out it he deserved this in any way, but perhaps a reminder for us of the need to control our passion when we are at matches.

Not true, I'm sure Barnsley fans voted Bristol Rovers their second favourite team of all time, just pipping England 1966 and Brazil 1970.

God bless you Colin, love and best wishes to your family. RIP

He looks exactly what he is, a quality international central defender. I'd love to see him sign a new 2-3 year deal.
