  1. The most entertaining City teams I've seen since I've been going (1982) are Cooper's team 84-86 and Jordan's 89-90. Not the best I've seen, but the most entertaining.
  2. I would be amazed and disappointed if the guy didn't get a great reception. Part of the League Cup run to the semis, always great with the fans, had to deal with the worst injury list of any City manager ever and overcome horrendous personal circumstances to achieve in the game. I wouldn't care if I was stood on my own, he'll get applause from me when he enters pitchside.
  3. Love the City Union flag with the poppies. When I started going to Ashton in the early 80s nearly all the flags were Union flags as opposed to St George. Something really powerful about the Union flag that I don't think the St George flag carries. Having said that, the St George flag designs on here all look top notch. Who is going to design a Han Noah flag?
  4. Imagine if it was done by letter and post, for some of the 'reactionaries' on here their letter would be 'redundant by the time it arrived. Following the Posh result they would be writing about how great the spirit it and how we have an outside chance of top six and the Pearson revolution is underway, by the time it arrived they'd be drafting another saying we need a young up and coming coach, the players are spineless and we're going down to league one ?
  5. I think a few thousand Gasheads must have forgot it, seeing as there was lass than 5000 in attendance (including 500 + Oxford)
  6. Yes, I flicked between N Ireland, Scotland and England, but N Ireland was by far the best watch, They really had Italy rattled at times.
  7. Exeter are playing their second string ?
  8. Are they playing rugby or football???
  9. I think there should be a little fear, like the fear of equalling the 9-0 Spurs pumped them by in their glory days ?
  10. 25 minutes gone and the Gas are only three down. I think they were four down the last time they played them. You have to hand it to Joey Barton he is clearly turning that club around. 'They're coming for us' 'Hard luck da shit'
  11. Just read Bristol Post ratings for yesterday and it says pretty much everyone played well. Even handed out an 8 to Pring. I only listened to the match on the radio but are the marks generous? If not, how did we end up losing?
  12. Hilarious that many of the fans that were desperate for us to land Pearson are now calling for his head after he has had only one transfer window and 8 months in charge! Today as well as missing Pearson, we were without Baker, Atkinson, Semenyo, King and James. As for telling Lansdown to **** off, that is embarrassing. Blackburn is a huge game and I expect a changed City team to take the three points COYR
  13. Huge game against Blackburn on the horizon. Let us hope Pearson is back on the touchline, Baker and Atkinson alongside Kalas crashing into challenges, James bossing the midfield and Semenyo giving us some pace in attacking areas. COYR
  14. Vyner is a liability, bags of ability but he gets bullied so easily. He cannot play centre back as he is too much of a soft touch.
  15. Bentley Kalas Atkinson Baker Tanner Williams James Pring Massengo Martin Wiemann 11 players who will roll up their sleeves and get stuck into Coventry.

    Downsy

Can I just say, if I ever get into the shape of the Bristol rugby lads, please feel free to film me with my top off and put it on twitter. Male or female you are welcome to put 'sweating emojis'. As it is, if I took my top off now I think I'd look similar to Peter Beadle!
  17. I'm sure there will be 1000+ come kick off
  18. On the radio Owers said he thought it was because of Tanner's poor reaction after his bad back pass.
