Bad error by Massengo. Shame, because we were doing OK despite injuries.
EDIT: goooooooalll!!

Normally I'd choose Bentley without any doubts, but considering that he will probably be sold if the right offer comes, maybe it makes more sense to continue testing Max.

Maybe we don't get into the box enough?
Even if City's attacking quality has decreased in recents seasons, relating it with the lack of penalties is too simplistic. You can enter the opponents area 5 times and be clearly fouled 2 times or getting into the box 10 times and never get a touch by the other team's defenders: not giving at least one penalty in the first case can not be excused by the number of box entries.
I agree more with the point about not searching for penalties, but I'm glad that our players usually prefer not to dive.

Boro 2-1. Great.

Ouch.
I expected a loss but not a hammering.

Last season and 2019/20 I would have put it down to us not creating much. It figures.
This season at times and especially from Blackburn at home but also Huddersfield at home 2nd half and of late though we certainly have looked to be more positive but these things even themselves out? I don't go in for conspiracy theories,
If Championship was like Serie A, I would have no doubts about dirty things happening, but it's probably not the case so...why? Incompetence should be seen both ways, with wrong penalties given to opponents but sometimes to City too.
And then Pearson get fined...
That being said, we really should try to play better defensevely.

Such a promising start but then...
Let's hope Coventry don't make the same.

We don't really get penalties- 1 in the League between the start of November 2020 and the present.
This trend is becoming almost suspect. Has City done something to be threated like that?

The second one IMO.

Whilst we played very well, I can’t help but feel frustrated with that. The game shouldn’t have gone to ET, should have been out of sight.
Same. Good play overall but when you create so much and don't win it always feels like a missed opportunity. Hopefully we'll get points at Craven Cottage. COYR!

I enjoyed our second half performance: good passing, chances, solid at the back. That being said, I fear that we will regret our lack of accuracy in front of the net when energy levels will lower.
-
Huge missed chance by COD. We are playing quite well but in the final third we're wasting too much.

Phew!
Not convinced with Nigel's team selection, but really pleased about the players reaction after Milllwall's second goal and for this massive win. Well done, Robins!

Get him off the pitch FFS. He's not ready and hasn't ever shown that he is.
Highly predictable.

We never make things easy,eh?
If only Massengo was in the starting XI...

Good to have Massengo back in the starting XI, butI guess Towler is not ready for this level yet and never playing Wells from the start remains nonsense to me (despite being in the transfer list). That being said, I hope for a good performance and - for once - a balanced refereeing. COYR!
EDIT 1: I read wrongly, no Massengo.
EDIT 2: GEEEET INNN!

We all know that our team has its weaknesses...but t's incredible how many times we are damaged by referees, compared to the times we get something from them. Not an encourageing scenario for a relegation fight.

Good reaction after their goal, fair result at the moment. Unlucky to lose two players for injury, but we are playing OK.
