  1. Bentley; Vyner, Atkinson, Baker, Dasilva; Williams/Bakinson, Massengo; Weimann, Scott, O'Dowda; Wells That being said, probably we'll see Simpson and Martin instead of Vyner and Wells.
  2. IMO at least 7 players did enough to deserve a positive mark: Bentley, Kalas, O'Dowda, Scott, Bakinson, Weimann, Martin. Massengo had some good moments too, not sure about the others. There were some mistakes and less cohesion/energy in the second half, but I didn't find our performance as bad as it was described here. Obvoiusly it doesn't change our need of improvement.
  3. It can happen when you play against a side that in this moment is stronger, with less injuries, with more confidence. Before the match I would have been happy with a draw, but when they scored the second honestly I thought that a draw would have been an opportunity missed, because even with all our weaknesses we were battling quite well, we were two times ahead on score despite all (bad refereeing included). IMO a draw would not have been undeserved and losing with a late goal was harsh. Anyway, massive work to be done during the international pause.
  4. Yes, we did. Apart the last minutes we were OK in the second half, one of their goal was a gift by the referee, we had chances too. 2-2 would have been the right result. We were lucky against Barnsley, not today...even if Coventry played better. That being said, we knew it woukd have been another tough match and that we have weaknesses.
  5. We're so, damn unlucky. We deserved a point from this match. Disheartening result.
  6. I talked too early eh? The clown in black is already back: 1-1.
  7. Not a bad first half, despite Coventry having better play and more chances: Bentley had some work to do but overall defence was OK, Callum was our best player in attack, good finishing by Martin, lively Scott. The referee made a terrible decision after the first minutes but he put remedy to it near the end of the half (not a stonewall penalty like the first one, but still a penalty). Now let's not lose the plot, please. COYR!!
  8. I'm starting to hate English referees: how was that not a penalty?!?
  9. Agree with the choice of not playing all the strikers together and having Palmer back is good...but we look quite weak after the increase of injuries, so... I'd be very happy with a point today.
  10. Really bad second half: defence became fragile, not enough attacking threat, James injured...so I can't find any positives. Disappointed, because the first half was even and I thought we could have gained a point, doing a little more in the second half.
  11. Defence OK so far, our play was too at times, but many wrong attacking choices. We need more accuracy and maybe more creativity too (Scott for one of the strikers?)
  12. 3-4-1-2? Big game for Bakinson: replacing Massengo'energy won't be easy. Not many alternatives on the bench. COYR!
  13. You write Weimann, you read Wunderbar.
  14. It added nervousness in a delicate - and for this reason, stressful - match, but our players remained calm, despite all those free kicks not given and offsides (some were doubtful at least). Few good decisions on our way.
  15. It was a bit stressful, wasn't it? ? In the second half we struggled, conceding many chances (some huge ones), we had to face an irritating one-way refereeing (that had an impact on our goal chances too), but...WE WON! The team's effort and the support were great. Both deserved a joy, after so many disappointing - and sometimes undeserved - results. Hopefully this win will restore some confidence and make the team play with lese pressure. COYR!!!
  16. A win. At HOME. A HOME WIN. WÒOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!
  17. OT: Marley Watkins scored for Aberdeen against Hearts; Taylor Moore and JET on the bench.
  18. The team reacted very well (much better than me ? ) and Weimann was superb. The battle is not finished though, so we need to remain concentrated and play with energy in the 2nd half.
  19. Really bad defending, 0-1. ? Shame, because we were slowly growing into the match, whereas now we have a mountain to climb
  20. In some of his last appeareances he showed (surprisingly) some defensive work, not only creativity in his passing. He's discontinuos in his performances, but leaving him behind two youngsters would be strange IMO, except in case of fitness issues (like Galley suggested). Talking about the line_up...I'm not a fan of Wells wide striker. Anyway, COYR!
