  1. Today I expected at least a point: losing these sort of games is not acceptable, for a team that wants to keep its place in the Championship. Probably Johnson is making a lot of mistakes, and probably some players have lost confidence in him....so at this point, I think he should be sacked. That being said...I'm starting to believe that our team's problems are worse than we think: maybe too many players are not good enough to keep City in this league. Even without a manager on the bench, we should be able to gain points against sides like Cardiff,Ipswich,Forest, etc.
  2. A 3-4-1-2 that can become a 3-4-3 with Paterson moving on the right side of the attacking front, or a 4-3-1-2 with Bryan or Little moving back in difence: tactically, it's a choice that make sense to me. The disadvantages are the use of al three CB at the same time, and less opportunities in midfield for some players(ex: Reid and Smith, because on the bench there are already two midfielders as substitutes). Anyway...COYR!
  3. I agree with you. We had some good chances, but overall they played much better, deserving to win. In our team, I save Magnusson,Abraham and Reid; Smith, Fielding and Golbourne were probably the worse ones.
  4. Lucky to be 1-1: Huddersfield dominated the game, and our defending was often really bad. Anyway, the lads seem to have gained some confidence after Tammy's goal, so the team perfomance could increase in the 2nd half.
  5. It took us more than a month but...it's good to return to winning ways! Well done, lads!
  6. Brighton is stronger, so what did you expect? A Bristol City playing like Barcelona?
  7. Too many negative comments, IMO. Brighton were clinical, we didn't...but despite this, we played quite well.
  8. We are playing well...but we're 0-2 down. O'Donnell's fault in the first goal, unlucky in the second one.
  9. GET IN! Beating Rovers is always a good thing, isn't it?!? I was able to watch only the 2nd half, and I found the match quite balanced: IMO, Magnusson,Tomlin and Wilbs played really well, whereas Emnes and the two central defenders were the main protagonists for Blackburn.
  10. Not a good performance, but still better than Cardiff's one: we didn't deserve to lose. An unlucky night, for the lads.
  11. It's early days, but I feel quite confident about City's season : the lads are showing their quality on the pitch, but they also seem to have a strong personality (especially when they get come-back wins) and good team spirit. Let's continue in this way!
  12. Brilliant win, especially considering the team's reaction after a complicated first half. Against Norwich e Newcastle we didn't take points despite positive performances...but today we got a reward.
  13. I leave the forum for 10 minutes, and we overturn the result?!? Well, I'm going to visit every site I know for the next 30 minutes... See you later!
