Have a look at getting the "A bus" to Temple meads and then getting the train from BTM to Bath

The "A Bus" service no longer exists. Never resumed post-Covid. Costs.

Is there anyone out there among our public transport experts that can give some advice.

I’ll be coming from and needing to get to Bath. On Saturday it was a relatively simple process to Parsons Street @Never to the dark sideHowever tomorrow particularly if we get extra time and Penos could be a bit more trying.

Of course there is always Uber but any other suggestions would be helpful. I have checked train times from Parsons Street and it’s doable even factoring staying for our inevitable celebrations after the penalty shoot out and not too many visiting supporters glumly waiting on the platform.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice

X39 bus from TM? Not sure what time it runs till but bound to run till at least 11pm.

Not selling that fast tbf, guessing not many members on 4 plus games , the real carnage will be Tuesday

Yes, that's quite odd. I expected the whole ground to be sold out by now. Clearly many members only go to 1 or 2 games. And only 8 league home games to go.

With respect, you chose your season ticket in the most expensive area of the ground with the best view and the best facilities. An equivalent ticket for a Premier League game would be an awful lot more, and this is a huge game for the club.

Yeah, but us in the Dolman get the sun!!

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but how can they agree personal terms before a bid has been accepted?  Surely they're not allowed to talk to the player before being given permission and a bid accepted?

Good point. And seems rather presumptuous. Kind of thing pushed by an agent, you'd imagine. But, also indicates that Semenyo is obviously pushing to move on.

Martin is like no player we have. He's physical, holds the ball up well, technically a very good footballer too. He will get plenty of time this season, and be vital to certain games.

Spot on. Been interesting watching Wells and Conway and seeing what they're like at holding the ball up. Wells hasn't been that great. The ball often bounces off him and he never looks fully in control with his back to goal. Certainly been playing well in our last two home games but this doesn't seem to be his strongest attribute. Conway already seems more at ease with ball to feet.

You can't underestimate the importance of having one of your strikers able to hold off defenders and do the dirty work, whilst players around him get into space. Takes one or two defenders out of play for a start.

I thought Diedhiou was excellent (eventually) at using his strength to keep defenders at bay. He was never the most agile of players but this was one part of his game which improved over time.

Martin is good at this but not as good as Fam was. Martin's preferred option is to flick the ball on with his head where it usually goes straight to the keeper.

I thought Martin got better and better last season and ended up being an integral part of our strike force.

I was not there that day. Had things at home on but listened to whole Match on radio Brizzle and recall Gary Owers saying never seen anything like that before, as well as many livid callers ringing in who had attended..

agree many of the late winners or equalisers this season have been stomach turning but for being given the run around by 10 men for a whole half of a game and them scoring a deserved late winner left me numb at home.
somehow I suspect tomorrow will be a cracking game and that wrong will be righted ?

The reaction from us in the away end certainly wasn't the usual applaud them off regardless.  Players got a lot of abuse hurled at them. We weren't happy. Since then, Coventry have got a little worse and we've got a little better.

  7. Went to game & stayed in London last night ,went for a after match cider in nearest weatherspoons ,loads of Palace fans in there ,I was wearing a City top and none of them had a word yet more an angry word to say to me & my boy who was drinking with me .Think Palace have a lot of ok fans and a few keyboard warriors who give the rest a bad image.

Tis' the way of most football fans all over the country. Remember, football fans are just ordinary people who happen to follow their team. They don't suddenly not become like you and me because they support another team. The tribal bit is what makes football great, but some fans take it too far. Also, they're from London (and the surrounding area) and are all mouth and no trousers! I wouldn't mess them lot oop' north. And, there's nothing like reserving your vitriol behind a computer screen, rather than face to face.
