MK 1-1
Best result for us as even though we lose a point we would keep two teams five behind

For all the Al-Qaeda fans trying to give it large and telling us that they are coming for us, here is a simple message......
You have to get promoted twice and build a 27k ground and get bigger gates than you have for the last 50 years just to catch up,

Am I the only one that finds this thread rather cringe..?
I personally think it's great that Rovers have been bought out and I hope they manage to get to the Championship so we can have two proper clubs in Bristol that can enjoy proper derby's.
I was actually talking to a Celtic fan the other day and even he was saying that he can't wait until Rangers get back up to the top flight so I don't understand all the cringe worthy insults coming out. I mean honestly, saying the guy (who is obviously very wealthy) looks like he is wearing a cheap suit? Are we back in the playground!?
Anyway, i'm sure now some of the 'old boys' or the 'real fans' will tear this apart but oh well! Do your worst!
Good luck Rovers and hopefully the next time you play us we'll be in the Championship or better giving you a 6-0 thrashing!
I smell ........
Nah on joking. You are entitled to your view just as i am entitled to think that they are ******* scum that should find a quiet corner somewhere and die.

Love this quote by topman on their forum
And this is what football has sadly come to throughout the leagues
Clubs not run like a business - income not meeting expenditure and only surviving due to football rights pay outs / premier league / football league subsidies etc so because of the wrong structure in the sport virtually all clubs needing a money man to carry on / bail out
The sport is littered with people who have no real affiliation to the club and supporters and merely see it as their investment / play thing I blame the Premier League / sky (even though I am a subscriber) for most of the problems
So if and it is a big if we 'suffer' a takeover how are we ever going to face City fans whom the majority of us have mocked re Mr S L?
We would not be in need of this if we had the right people in charge of the club for the last 15/ 20 years imo - other smaller clubs cope why cant we? We have a huge fan base in comparable terms / enough revenue streams - I despair with football as a whole
Much as it pains me to say it would be a good thing if a substantial number of clubs went of out business completely to bring people to their senses- 3

Great fight, i'm not sure Joshua is all he's been made out to be.
Still has a lot to learn, but he showed that he can fight. Took some shots in the 2nd and had to survive for a minute. Then went from trying to knock him out to boxing him.

this could go either way right now

Will be a draw

Anthony Joshua would kill both of these two

any decent streams for the fight?

we're creating a few chances and not taking them. The type of game we'll lose 1-0 in extra time. We're the better team mind
Yep, it has that feel about it,
-
I am really impressed with Bennetts crossing. Very high class.
-
Shit, should have scored
-
not with a defender round his neck
I'll give you one, maybe two but not the other twenty
-
poor ball from Wilbs when break was on
edit
-
If Whittingham had as much time to cross as Bryan, we would be a goal down.
-
poor cross from great position from Joe
crossing his not his strong point. His second attempt was even worse.
-
Cardiff growing into the game. We need to get the ball to Kodjia and get him running at them more.
any chance Wilbs can win a header any time tonight?
-
Well at least we might win some games next season in league 1 and keep some clean sheets..........edit
get in there...Freeman
we are staying up,

I was oing to
Anyone seen the front page of the Evil Post this morning? It's the Post so I don't believe it for a 2nd but allegedly Nicholas wants to sell Rovers to American investors... will post a link when I find it...
Edit: Link here. http://m.bristolpost.co.uk/Bristol-Rovers-attracting-interests-American/story-26798512-detail/story.htmlI was going to post that they will all now be giving it big about how they are going to be huge and in the prem in a few years but then I remembered that they say that already.

Sheffield United fans are some of the most deluded in football and think that big gates automatically intitle you to be in the Premier League. They do not realise that it is league position that counts and nothing else.
