You are joking. NP defences were some of the worst I have seen at City. The amount of games we threw away in the last few minutes should have cost home his job on its own.

Doesnt look match fit to me. I think he was rushed back and with Wells getting injured has probably had a lot more game time than planned. Its a very young age to be playing the amount of football he does.

I've picked out one key aspect from both NPs interview after the Cardiff game and the boy wonders on RB. Injuries. NP seems to go out of his way to talk about how they were all contact injuries and then JL spent a good portion of his interview talking about how the injuries were preventable. I get the impression that conversations were already had between NP and the board about the state of injuries and wonder if NP knew they would be using it as a reason

I thought all along that it was a tactical decision not to fund NP in the last window. The people in charge had all ready made their decision that he was going and and such were never going to give him much to spend apart from what was absolutely necessary. If the rumours today about OOC players and NP not wanting is true then it makes sense from their position to get rid now and not wait till the summer.

I have had issues with SL for years ( in fact I have been slated in the past on here for my comments) but even I find some of this harsh. I agree about the mistakes and punters bit but struggle with the rest. He has tried to do what is best for the club imo.

For me the biggest difference between the teams last night was the use of the ball abd crossing was without doubt the weakest aspect of our game. We really got into some very good position but wasted so many potential chances by poor crossing. Even the cross that lead the Conway have a header on goal a yard behind him. If it had been in front I would have put money on that being a goal. I don't recall seeing so many poor crosses in a game.

I would assume the silly yank owner of Bournemouth is by now reevaluating his decision to get rid of Gary or at least I would hope so. Delighted that Gary got one over him yesterday.
