Rumour on twitter that he has signed a one year contract with us. -

Wednesday look very weak.

The season is going to be one of the hardest for a long time. All three clubs that came down will probably be battling for top 2 and the promoted teams (apart from Plymouth) are big clubs and are certainly attractive to players. If we can finish on around 60 points I would be happy.

Alex Scott - £25m to Bournemouth- Confirmed
BS3_RED replied to SinéadB's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
I dont get this "he is better than Bournemouth" The worst thing for us is if he was bought by a top 4 team. We need/want him to go to a lower placrd team that will not be able to match his progressing ability as that means he will no doubt be sold on for a lot more than we sell him for and we get a huge sell on (Bolasie) Yes seeing a team like Bournemouth buying our player boils my iss but we stand to make more money long term than if we sold him to a top 4 team who he would never leave. -
Shame. After the events of the final at Wembley we should not host. Personal view, I don't expect others to agree.

Surely the train station is about getting people to the city centre and not to the city.

Safe to say that the 2nd Iraq war was more to do with fictional WMD's than terror.

Well that blows my conspiracy theory out of the water then. -

I not gonna go looking for it but I am sure I read a few years back that when a player is released ( I would assume that would also include being offered a lower wage contract, otherwise clubs could just offer you £1 a week to get around it) that if you didnt pick up a new club the previous club were required to pay wages til September. It was a while ago so i very well could be wrong. -

I did wonder about this yesterday. When a player is out of contract the club are required to pay the player till the end of September ( i think) if the player does not sign for another club, who would pick up their contract from July. Now (conspiracy theory here) If I was Kalas and i knew that I was going to take a massive wage hit, then it might be tempting to wait until after September before signing for a new club and still receive the current (massive) wage. Just a thought. -
A tweet currently on Twitter that Leeds have now agreed to price match away ticket costs. https://twitter.com/FootyAccums/status/1680169934414835712?s=20

Yep, that how some teams will get around it. Put the away fans in an expensive area ( main stand on the side of pitch) and you can charge more.

Right next to that " foul" Rodri was being held like he was having sex with his Mrs,

Yep, mine came out a few days ago.

Unfortunately I am working just around the corner from Wembley today. Mancs are everywhere in City tops and a shitload of londeners in united tops.

Was given as offside ( not sure it was though)

I know these thing take time but does anyone know what the timetable is for this?

What will be the expectations for next season?

As with any season in the championship for a club our size......Promotion. No, mid table would be fine. -

Best bang for buck would be a mid table Prem team who he will get game time with and hopefully will be sold to a top 4 tam in a couple of years with us having a tidy sell on. -
The standard has fallen hugely over the last few years. I think with Stroud though is the air of arrogance he gives off, not just the bad decisions.

Im watching the Rotherham game and both sets of fans are singing "you're not fit to referee" Now there is a man I would love to see retire in a weeks time.
