Good for football in Bristol, couple of friends are rovers fans & they’ve had some tough Years. Love the derby matches & it may even be good for a loan player to get some league one matches. I get the rivalry thing & I’ve joined in with jokes about them going extinct in the past, probably in the minority but it’s good for the area & id rather play them in the championship than league one twice a Year if they went up again.

The season has had some stop start moments with Pearson’s health. The board stood by him then, there’ll be a chance to clear some more players out - Palmer, Wells & O’Dowda will def be off & hopefully bring in some savvy replacements. I think the Lansdown’s will be delighted to stay in the Championship, remember the chat when it was looking a bit brown pants time from Gould saying their Summer targets may need to be brought forward in Jan… Results improved & we are safe so will be interesting to see who these targets are & that will probably gauge the expectation of next Season & probably the opinion of fans as we know he’s working with what he’s got & see what the team looks like on the first game of next season, could be a big overhaul.

Kalas was outstanding again tonight. Brilliant first 35 mins, they were there for the taking & just not clinical enough. Def need a reinforcement or 2, lucky Vyner could play on or may have seen Martin at the back! It sounds like he’s either gone or been given the International break to rest & think about what he wants to do. Gut feeling is he’s off & a shortlist is probably being prepared to make a swift replacement as the messages seem very much like relegation is not an option. It’s never dull here is it.

Holland certainly allow it with Blind being able to play for Ajax so hopefully he’ll get an opportunity somewhere if he wants it.
