Keeper needs healthy competition / solid injury cover perhaps
-
So bcfcshags is on the naughty step? That’s a shame, even when someone drops some news / rumour it still never feels it’ll deffo happen & that’s quite the buzz until it’s confirmed by club / falls through. Perhaps the info was a little too specific & threatened things happening.

Shakespeare free again then, guess Nige is prob happy with Curtis & co so unlikely
-
What a statement this would be for the rest of the squad too, top player. Feels like they want all players in and settled asap, if not keen, move on to the next, lovely stuff
-
Interesting at the bottom of that article says City have approached a striker but I can’t find the player in question. edit Championship star not striker

My friends company made it, worth checking out the Bobby Robson doc they did too

Depends if Kalas stays

Have heard that the loan back for a lower transfer fee is the clubs preferred choice too, it’s just so rare these days & Alex is ready but maybe another season with Tommy and co could sway him if we reinforce early and well -
Eliasson next season

Did that lovely step over and cross - every single time… but it was a good cross at least -

So £30m is the benchmark now?! A fellow championship club, uncapped talented youngster ? -

Well, his post award interview has given some hint of wanting to stay. Could just be good media training & not the right setting to say otherwise! -
Joe Bryan - Signed for Millwall

Or as others have said if Pring goes we then go for the Wimbledon chap ? wouldn’t wanna leave that too late in the window though, imagine Currie could have a few suitors -

Feel Naismith has been better in midfield for us -
Wonder if that was those folks in the stadium watching a few games recently ??

Have heard the loan back thing is a possibility via someone that would have some knowledge in the club. But I just can’t see it happening at all, unless it’s a Top 6 team. I think it’ll be sorted out early in the Summer though for all parties if not already. Massive distraction for all at the mo. -
Lee Tomlin ?

Weston vs Yeovil wouldn’t have predicted that a few Years back when they were in the Championship with Ayling, Jamie Mac, Ishmael Miller, Wayne Hennessy & co
-
If Weston go up and Torquay and Yeovil come down, they'll be in the same league next Season, unless i'm missing a league out?!

It’s probably how Salford should have done it! Although as someone said they do seem to care a lot more. Salford got the bbc doc out of it, but TikTok sponsorship alone for Wrexham is several million - 2 Year deal with a promotion bonus. Disney+ episodes making £500k per episode for Disney so that’ll renew. The Hollywood aspect to it makes it truly a global ‘brand’ that’ll only grow as they work their way up, it goes against football purists but it’s always been a business for the big boys too. Even getting Ben Foster on board was good for both parties / Ben’s ‘brand’ before a ball was kicked. It’s not quite what I used to try and do on championship manager (that’s more the Newcastle approach!) but it’ll be an interesting watch to see who, how (they may need investment) & what they add staff & player wise.
