Only time I’d heard this name before was when his brother was in the news for a car crash in Belgium I think fairly recently, quite a bad one by all accounts but all ok now & thought we’d signed him.

Thing I like about it, completely out of the blue, nothing online / rumoured at all. Be interesting to know if it did get out of other clubs would have been alerted, if quietly going about the business like this, letting us chat about random Indonesian players on here helps secure targets, that’ll do.

Don’t think he was his best against us recently but always felt when he had the ball he was a threat, feel like we don't have that at the moment consistently

I’m not sure I’ve seen us play like that first 45 in a long time. Some very, very nice play at times & encouraging signs to create so many chances that on another night would have gone our way, then the 2nd half is completely different.

Looked like Sykes was trying to motivate Conway to move more at one point

At least 3 decent chances in a very dominant half. We take one or two of those in what was some extremely impressive stuff, would have been an interesting finish. But we didn’t & 2nd half we looked exhausted! Saints managed the game well, but some encouraging play in first 45.

Wonder if that was one well avoided like Hoban etc or if we will be back in for him again / going to better things. Couldn’t find the original thread on him but it seems he very nearly joined from St Pats in Ireland
