So the Wycombe lot kidnapped him, tied him to a cup ( strange thing to do) and we pay £1M to release him.
Anyone willing to quote the Source(r) for this?
They only used a cheap bike chain though and someone guessed the combination.

I can't believe I witnessed this either, but if I have to so do you.

... and the first time was 1920 by which point we had won the second division title, finished runners up in the top division and been in an FA Cup final

I do like the fact they werent even called Bristol Rovers back in 1883, and were renamed Rovers AFTER we were called Bristol City- they hate to be reminded of that.
They also only became a league team in 2015

Please explain which ethos that is, the plucky underdog or the massive top 6 club? It seems to change from week to week.
Honestly, I am trying to do you a favour here, just stick with underdog. The Boca Juniors tag is too much of an open goal on here.
I agree, they are more own goals than open goals though, no real effort required.

Up until now, I had been sure that Bell was (just) offside. But from this photo it looks like the defender at the top of the picture, is playing him on.
You could also take it back a frame when the initial contact with the ball is made. This is where VAR is so contentious for me. You are dealing with millimetres and milliseconds and the margin for error is huge in comparison.

No, despite City's grandiose claim to be 'making Bristol proud', many are blissfully unaware of your very existence. You are a big fish in a small pond.
Is that gas logic or did he just get it wrong?

Okay, you could maybe elongate the last line to Cameron Pring?

Cam Pring, you make the ball sing
You keep everything…moving
Cam Pring
sounds a bit weird. Needs to be a bit faster.
Doesn't that depend on how quickly you read it? I scanned it and it seemed a bit quick to me

Thinking about it, I'd prefer:
"Wild Pring! You make my heart sing!" (add other verses you poets)
He really does make everything groovy.

Oh how football has changed since I was a lad. I'm pretty sure I've called away fans and players a lot worse over the years.
Is banter part of football?

A lot worse than what? The article does not say what was said.

I asked my son this question and his answer was “Chelsea”
My son was the same once, but I managed to successfully deprogram him with the help of watching City at the Millenium Stadium and Wembley.

You gotta prime it better for a real response:
In Bristol's fields of green and red a plight,
A curse upon the team that calls it home,
For penalties they beg and beg, but nought
Is given by the refs, who play the dome.
The FA's blind eye turns to City's plight,
And justice is a word they do not know,
For every foul against, they see no right
To grant a spot where goals can surely grow.
And so the team must struggle on, with rage
That boils within their hearts, like fire in night,
For every game, they play on through the age
Of refs who do not see what's fair and right.
But still, the team will fight, and fight again
Until the penalties come to them.
