They are basing opinion of Manning on what they watched last night-
One match.
... but, in fairness, in comparison to every other team they have watched once or maybe twice.

I'm on a train in Bath heading to Temple Meads. All on track, all on time, no delays. As you were. x

Haven’t seen any highlights, but it looked a top finish tonight. Was it?

Best to just ignore Flash scores to be honest.
Flash scores gave Middlesbrough a red dot in the 97th minute, and we all know that a red dot means nothing until the score is announced on the fishy site.

Good old BBC, "He plays for Bristol, he must be Welsh, just bung Jones down."

Is this pirate lying, or have I found one that speaks the truth?
(Kudos for the banner in the southern bus stop.)

Clubs that aren't in receipt of parachute payments should be united and happy to see another club defying the odds to compete! I certainly would be if the boot was on the other foot.
You have a point here, but on the other hand I think that if any club needs to be defying the odds it needs to be us. If the boot was on the other foot you'd be just as jealous. The worry, I have, is that Mark Ashton will be hailed as some kind of hero, when the reality is he is an old fashioned con artist who just happens to be very good at spending other people's money.

Does the standard use of 'to be fair' justify such nonsense that nobody else can even understand? No, it does not. They might as well talk about how their players beards are better than ours.
Well, to be fair....

They are so far behind that even the Y2K bug threats not hit them yet.
Do you think there will be a time when we can measure the gap in actual (rather than metaphorical) light years?

How many fans did we take up there last night ? The cov fans are all criticising us saying poorest turn out all season. With the game being re-arranged, long time since last pay day, so many games in a short space of time, its a ground most of us have already been too i admire the ones who went fair play to them
Not all Coventry fans are critical, the irony is that a Bristol Rovers fan is critical and we all know how massive they are...
